"Your Majesty! An urgent message!" A messenger burst into the War Room, an enclosed scroll in his hand. The counselor members circling the half-crescent table silenced their murmurings to observe the messenger. The figure at the head of the table beckoned the bowing boy to enter into the crescent, receiving the scroll from him.
Slicing the wax seal open with a sleeve dagger that sprung from the seams of their sleeves in a flash, their voice resonated within the mahogany of the richly decorated War Room. After reading its contents, the scroll was left forgotten on the table, as the Monarch burst out of the chamber, shouting orders to their court and assembly. "Assemble the ships! Draft all troops from every corner of the country!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!" War generals and their accomplices bowed quickly before storming down the corridors, orders echoing against the white stone. The Monarch halted before their chambers and confirmed the rising question on the messenger's face who had been struggling to keep pace with the Monarch.
"We shall answer the call."
