Fundraiser

It was a few months after finally Catching Robbie for the murder of Cat Valentine as well as several other murders Robbie committed. He even admitted to "killing" Rex who threatened to tell on him for killing Cat. Since then, Jade made her best efforts to reach out to the group though Tori was still an LAPD lieutenant, Andre was a busy writer, producer, performer, and recording studio owner, and Beck was still in New York continuing acting. She did have the occasional lunch or dinner with Tori and visiting Andre's studio. Also, hang out with her partner Sean Parker for a time or two. She even contacted Trina who bought the two buildings that Robbie owned for her boutique business because the property was cheap.  

Jade even helped out Trina and Mrs. Vega opening up their second store at Robbie's second building. The Vega ladies tried to make it work in the first building however there were some problems because of the horrific things that happened there. 

Trina said, "Thanks for helping out Jade," Jade said, "Don't mention it, I was bored," Trina said, "I take the help I can get one way or another," Mrs. Vega said, "How is retirement going?" Jade said, "I'm working on a few projects including the Scissoring reboot and the fourth Julie Marks book. However, it's gets fucking boring just being home a lot," Trina said, "Didn't Dale buy your screenplay for Julie Marks?" Jade said, "He did and he's doing pre-production as we speak,"   

Mrs. Vega said, "Also, what are your intentions with Tori?" Trina said, "MOM!!!???"  Mrs. Vega said, "I just want to know what's going on with Jade and Tori," Jade said, "We're just friends that's all," Mrs. Vega said, "Does being just friends involve stripping my daughter out of her uniform?" Trina said, "MOM!!!! GROSS!!!!!!," Mrs. Vega said, "Trina, you have two kids," Trina said, "Yeah but I don't need to hear about my baby sister's love life and especially with the freak over here," Jade said, "Ever been hit in the head before?" 

Mrs. Vega separated the two ladies and took Jade to a separate room and told Jade, "Hey I don't care who Tori loves I just want my daughter to be happy either with you, Andre, or your friend Sean. I wished she would concentrate more on her personal life than her professional one.  Even David made time for me and the girls early in their lives. Don't get me wrong I love what she's doing for the city and protecting our streets but I like her personal life to match up with her professional one. I want more grandkids," Jade said, "I'm one not to say anything because my professional life as better than my personal one as well," Mrs. Vega said, "You need to change like you told my daughter," Jade said, "I know I'm full of shit and the lesbian bars aren't doing it for me anymore," 

Mrs. Vega said, "Do you bring a gun when you go?" Jade said, "I do and I went undercover as myself during the time when some homophobic assholes were assaulting people leaving gay bars," Mrs. Vega said, "Did you bust some of them?" Jade said, "In more ways than one," Mrs. Vega said, "You didn't get in......" Jade said, "No, it was considered justify and none of them were going to report me after a lesbian beat the shit out of them," Mrs. Vega said, "No wonder why my daughter likes you. Anyway, do you know about this fundraiser banquet raising money for the LAPD Scholarship Fund?"

Jade said, "Yeah I actually going, I got an invite and before you ask. I don't know who gave me the invite," Mrs. Vega said, "Great I'm going as well and so is Trina and can I have you apologize to Trina please? Not nice to threaten people especially since you love her sister," Jade said, "OK I will apologize for you and Tori," Mrs. Vega said, "Thank You. Also, did you and  Tori......" Jade said, "You were right about stripping her uniform off however she felt a buzz as soon as took off her pants, answered her phone, and next thing you know, she got redressed and left. That was the only time we've done that,"  

Mrs. Vega said, "Did she kiss you goodnight?" Jade said, "She did and she told you," Mrs. Vega said, "She did among other things, let's get back and help Trina. Also, Tori is going to wear the same uniform you stripped her once before," Jade said, "Not having this conversation of you," and they left to get back to help Trina.

The next night, Jade went to the LAPD Scholarship Banquet where she was Tori for the first time in a week or so and gave her a big hug. Jade said, "How have you been? I missed you," Tori said, "It's only been a week," Jade said, "It's been a long week. Also, I see you're wearing your glasses," Tori said, " Let's just say that I have to wear my glasses in the next few days. Do you want to go someplace private? We've got some time," Jade said, "Lead the way, Lieutenant," and Tori led Jade to another banquet room where Tori locked the doors. 

Jade said, "Is this a good idea for you to do you to do this here? I'm a civilian and you are a high-ranking officer," Tori said, "There's no camera, the door is locked, and it's not going to be that long," Jade said, "Vega, living on the edge. I like it though I wish you were wearing a dress," Tori said, "I had to wear the uniform for PR purposes," Jade said, "I'll try not to ruin your makeup," as she was playing with Tori's tie and then went to her hips. Jade said, "I missed you, Sweetass," and groped Tori's ass with both hands. Tori said, "That's Lieutenant Sweetass and not that hard," Jade said, "Would are you going to do about it, Lieutenant?" Tori said, "This," and kissed Jade and they made out for 10-15 seconds until Jade said, "Guessing stripping you out of this uniform is out of the question," Tori said, "Yes, because I got present scholarships to teens and I want to keep my uniform presentable," Jade said, "Then you sure you want to continue?" Tori said, "Like this," and Tori kissed Jade again.      

The makeout sessions continued for another 30 seconds until Mrs. Vega knocked on the door and said, "Sweetie, Chief Crowley and a couple of good-looking NCIS agents wanted to talk to you," Tori said, "OK, be right out," Jade said, "That asshole is chief," Tori said, "Assistant Chief and yes. Do I look presentable?" Jade does a quick check on Tori if anything is out of place and did some adjustments and said, "You look presentable," Tori opened the door and saw Assistant Chief Crowley with two NCIS agents. 

Chief Crowley said, "Lieutenant, this is agents Callen and Hanna," Sam said, "Please call me Sam," and they shook hands with Tori. She said, "Didn't we meet earlier? I think I met you guys at my stepdad's retirement," Callen said, "We might have and do you know Marty Deeks?" Tori said, "I might have heard the name a time or two," Crowley said, "Anyway, Jade I'm going to need you to leave, we need to talk to Tori alone please," Jade said, "OK, I got to get to my seat anyway," Callen said, "Jade West, the author?" Jade said, "Author, former cop, future screenwriter, a Jill-of all trades," Sam said, "I have all of your Julie Marks books," Callen said, "So do I," Jade said, "I'll sign them for you one of these days, contact Tori," and Jade hugs Tori, tells her see you later and go to the banquet hall for the event.

Tori said, "What is this about?" Crowley said, "NCIS and FBI are starting a task force and they asked LAPD among others for help and I recommended you to join them," Tori said, "OK, what do I need to do?" Callen said, "Tomorrow morning we need to come to our boat house to attend our briefing," Tori said, "Great what time should I be there?" Callen said, "9 AM sharp and here's the address," and Callen gave Tori a piece of paper with the address. Tori said, "Are you guys going to going to join us?" Sam said, "We are a little underdressed but why not we're here," 

Crowley said, "OK is everything settled, if so let's go reward some scholarships," and they went to the banquet hall for the event.   

After the event, Tori and Jade met privately to continue their makeout session and Jade said, "Would you like a nightcap? If so, your place or mine? I like to introduce you to two friends of mine," Tori said, "As fun as that sounds, I'm going to pass. I got to wake up early for a meeting tomorrow," Jade said, "That sucks, the girls will be sad," Tori said, "Next time," Jade said, "Bye my little Lieutenant," Tori said, "Bye Jade," as the ladies left the hotel in hopes to continue their relationship.
