Ruins POV

It was a dark day, I was walking outside. My mind was slightly numb from Monty yelling at me so much, he did so whenever Solar and Moon were not around... Especially after Earth broke up with him. Solar and Moon are like my parents, or something in that way. The two have been dating for two years now, and have basically adopted me and treat me like their child. They make sure that I'm ok, and are fed.

I was walking outside, one of Eclipse's small troops has infiltrated one of our camps and is trying to take hostages. Solar and Moon told me I had to stay home but I like going and seeing what power we have, so I walked to where I could see what was happening. Up on a wall that surrounded the main camp I looked down to see our side winning, I smiled and looked around to see... Eclipse? He was here? He usually wasn't here and just sent one of his generals to take people... wait- where's Moon?

I hopped down and saw Solar panicking, I went up to him quickly knowing something was wrong.

"Solar?! Wheres Moon?" I said in a slightly concerned voice, Solar wiped around and looked startled.

"Ruin! You're not supposed to be here!" when he said this I felt kind of bad, if moon was missing I might get hurt too.

"I'm sorry but I didn't see Moon, where is he?!" Solar looked me in the eyes and then back at the fight that was happening.

"Eclipse has taken him hostage... I need you to go back. Now!" I nodded and hugged him before running off, my mind spinning with thoughts on what Eclipse would do to moon.

All of a sudden I saw someone nearby, it looked like sun but something was off. I stopped and as soon as I did he was quickly walking towards me, I gasped as I realized that it was Eclipse.

 He was wearing a ravishing suit that made him look amazing, along with a cape that was enchanted so that no one could sneak up behind him.

I quickly ran away faster than before, as much as I wanted to fight I was just simply too weak and flimsy. I hopped up onto a tree and started to climb it as fast as I could when all of a sudden I felt a firm grip on my ankle, pulling me down. I felt the bark splinter into my hands as I struggled to get away, the grip became tighter and yanked me down. 

I hit the ground and smacked my face, my hands hurt and I only got a glimpse of Eclipse before feeling immense pain go through my body as I slipped into unconsciousness.

Solars POV

I had just finished healing the wounded people and my troop, my heart heavy with sadness as I continued to think about Moon who was taken right in front of me.

I heard one of the troop members run up behind me, he was breathing heavily as if he just ran a mile. I turned around.

"Sir! Word just got around!" he said breathing heavily "Ruin was taken!" My heart dropped at those words, my eyes widened in shock and I stood up quickly.

"What?! When?!" the soldier said he didn't know, my heart sank as I now stood alone. I ran back home and found Earth and Lunar sharpening some battle weapons, just then tears started to pour down my cheeks. 

Earth stood up and came to comfort me, while Lunar just stared confused as I explained what had happened.
