A big Surprise

Moons POV

I was sitting on the couch with Earth, she was knitting and talking about some random obsession she had. I sighed and then heard a thud and then a knock on the front door, quickly getting alarmed and concerned, Earth and I both got up and ran towards the door. 

I swung it open ready to shoot whoever was there, it was Ruin. He was crouched down and crying, holding Eclipse in his arms, Earth gasped and hurriedly went to help. I felt suspicious, Solar just then came from the kitchen and alarmingly ran over to help. I just watched, looking behind Ruin to see...

"SUN?!" I felt tears start running down my face, I couldn't believe he was alive. Solar and Earth turned to see what I was looking at with surprise, but Ruin's eyes turned to shock and without looking he tried to pull Eclipse into the house.

"PLEASE HELP! SUN IS EVIL HE TRIED TO KILL US!!" Ruin yelped, I rolled my eyes and quickly walked past him. Solar picked up Eclipse bridal style and ran to the living room, Earth standing up while still watching Sun who was standing further away. He was holding something like a stick, and his smile was giving off a weird vibe.

"Sun your back?!" I said feeling my body forcing itself to walk forward, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with happiness. But that soon faded, when I saw the oily bat in his hands and dried on his clothing. My body starting to freeze.

"W-what happened??" I said slowly trying to understand the situation, Sun chuckled and stood up straight.

"What happened?~ oh don't you remember dear BRotHeR?" Sun said, his voice sounding manianic. I stepped back, getting concerned and connecting the dots to why Eclipse is broken.

"What do you mean, you were taken away and- and we couldn't find you!" I tried to remember, Sun was taken away by some random tribe and things started to become hectic without him. Eventually things died down but my grievance for him being gone was still there.

"Yes, I was "kidnapped" and I waited... and waited, AND WAITED! For you to come and save me... Moon. But after a year I started to lose hope, and then I realized. You're never coming to save me, so I took it upon myself to escape, and decided to not return to my selfish siblings. If you can be so narcissistic, then I get a turn." Suns grin was wide and joker-like, making me feel a panic rise in my chest.

"W-what? No! I looked for you as long as I could! I thought you were dead!" I said, taking a step forward.

"Yea~ and it seems you gave up too quickly~" Sun said before sprinting forward, raising the spiked bat above his head ready to strike me. I was frozen with fear, I felt someone grab my waist and pull me to the side. We hit the ground with a thud, I turned to see Solar next to me, and then over to see Sun pull his bat out of the dirt.

"Moon we need to go inside, we can turn the shield on." Solar said under his breath only for me to hear, I nodded and we both quickly stood up and bolted towards the house. I was so close until I felt a force push on my back and my face planted into the ground, Sun had leaped on top of me and shoving my face in the dirt with his foot.

Solars POV

Moon and I got up and ran, I was ahead of him and didn't notice that he got caught. I turned around before entering to see Sun on top of him, His foot pushing Moon's face into the dirt. I gasped and started to run back when Sun pulled out a gun, I stopped in my tracks.

"S-SUN! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!" I yelled, not knowing what to do. Just then a strange portal appeared behind them, Sun turned to look at it with a shocked expression and quickly looked back at moon under his foot. Relief flooded over me as he started to get off, until he quickly pointed the gun at his head and shot...

I felt my body go numb as I watched Moon's struggling body suddenly go limp, Sun had an emotionless expression now and simply turned around and walked to the portal.

"Thanks for being such an easy target~" Sun said, redirecting his gaze to Ruin who just came to my side, I slowly turned my head to him, My breathing starting to get heavier. Tears starting to flood down my face as my legs gave out and I collapsed onto the ground, clutching my chest.

Ruins POV

"No- no please, I- I can't." Solars words and cracked voice struck me, I felt my body starting to shake.

"S-solar..." I couldn't bring any words, my stomach feeling like it flipped. Solar looked over to Moon's lifeless body and stood up, stumbling over to him. I watched in horror as Solar pulled him onto his lap and cried, his sobs and pleads for Moon to be ok making me feel guilt. I hadn't done anything and yet I feel like it was all my fault, I stepped forward and felt Earth push past me. I could hear her sobbing as she ran towards Solar and Moon, I felt my tears finally start to roll down my face.

"I-i'm so s-sorry." I let my words stumble out, and turned to go to Eclipse. He was lying on the couch, his bleeding stopped and he was simply sleeping. I stood next to him and started to cry more.

"I-if I had just d-done something... If I had just- just..." I collapsed next to the couch and tried to wipe away the tears. I hated this so much. I hated crying, I hated myself. I felt a hand rest on my head, and I opened my eyes to see Eclipse looking at me with a deadpan face.

"E-eclipse?" I said, trying to wipe my stream of tears.

"What happened?" He said weekly and tried to turn his body, his question and small movements of pain suddenly made my brain fill with Moon's death. I started to sob more, and my breathing was slowly depleting, making me make hideous sounds of grief.

"R-ruin?" Eclipse's soft tone was the only thing comforting in that moment, I looked up at him.

"M-moon's dead" I said, Eclipse's eyes widened and then turned soft. He gently leaned forward and pulled me into him, hugging me as tightly as he could. His hands holding me firmly giving me reassurance.

"I'm so sorry Ruin." He said, before I felt him power down again. His hands sliding down against the couch, I leaned back and took his cold hand.

"I-will fix it, I'll try."
