(A/N: Apologies for the short chapter, I know they're usually much longer. I'll upload another chapter first thing tomorrow to make up for it! Also later today I'll be uploading a new story, this one will be updated a lot less often that TDRK, but please look forward to it! Thanks for reading, -SK)

"Hey, Minseok. What uh, what are you doing here?" Amber asked when she saw Minseok come in the door. Tao, Kris, Zhoumi, Amber, Victoria, and Henry were all sitting on desks and chairs that were all congregated together in a mess of wood and metal.

"Yeah, did you get lost or something?" Tao asked. Minseok just shook his head. He bit his lip and went to sit in an untouched desk. All 6 of the Chinese students that were present in class stared at him in confusion.

"You're joking right? This newbie isn't actually in our class, right?" Kris asked angrily. Luhan walked into the classroom and plopped his stuff down next to another untouched desk.

"Hey, Lu, what's going on. What is he doing here?" Zhoumi asked, pointing at Minseok.

"You guys better set the desks back up before Ms. Zhang gets here. Class is for real today." Luhan said spitefully, tossing a crumpled piece of paper at Minseok's back. Everyone simultaneously understood and groaned, putting the desks back and sitting down.

"Minseok, couldn't you have gone to a different class?" Tao asked sadly. Kris patted his back, but quickly took his hand away when he saw Henry pass by them. Tao frowned at Kris. Minseok noticed the whole scene and felt a little bad for Tao.

"I'm sorry, I didn't pick my class. My dad picked it I didn't even know until today." Minseok answered quietly.

"Yeah? Well tell your dad 'fuck you' for me, huh?" Zhoumi spat out. Henry tossed a Mandarin textbook at the back of Minseok's head, hitting it squarely. Minseok cried out and bowed his head to his desk. Amber punched Henry's arm.

"Rude as hell, bro. Apologize" She ordered.

"Shit, I didn't know you saw." He said rubbing the back of his neck. Amber scowled at him and he let out a quiet, fake as hell apology. The door swung open and Ms. Zhang walked in, followed by Lay.

"Alright everyone sit down. Class is for real today." She said with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Minseok flinched a bit. He actually felt bad to have ruined everyone's fun time. Not all of them were really that bad. Amber was nice, Tao seemed alright, and Victoria, well he wasn't positive about her yet but she seemed to be pretty chill. Zhoumi didn't seem so alright as he did before. Lay sat down next to Minseok and handed him a note. Minseok unfolded it and covered it with his hand so he could read it privately.

To
-Minseok-
I'm sorry about these guys. I hope you know they aren't all bad.

Minseok wrote back a response and handed it back to Lay

To
-Lay-
Yeah I know. Amber and Tao and Victoria seem nice. And you're obviously not bad.

He and Lay started passing notes back and forth. Minseok was sure that the others had seen, but they probably didn't rat on them because they didn't want to get Lay in trouble. Although they were all vastly different, all the Chinese students stuck by each other.

To
-Minseok-
Amber and Tao are both really nice. Victoria is sort of complacent. She doesn't bully too much, but she doesn't do anything about it when the others bully.

To
-Lay-
Does she bully at all?

To
-Minseok-
Uh yeah, kinda. She sometimes picks on underclass girls but it's never anything too serious. I don't think...

To
-Lay-
That sounds like bullying to me

To
-Minseok-
Maybe it is, but I don't judge her too much for it. She's a good person inside. She took me under her wing when I first came to Korea. She's like... A mom to me and Tao.
