"Ah! You must be Minseok!" Mr. Jo exclaimed upon seeing the boy. Before Minseok could answer, he was being pulled into class by the enthusiastic instructor."Class, this is Kim Minseok! He just transferred here from Guri! How rustic! Let's all give him a nice warm welcome and show him some GD High school spirit, yeah!" Mr. Jo said cheerfully, making the class laugh. He patted Minseok's shoulder and pointed to the empty seat in front of Luhan.
"That's Lu Han. Why don't you go sit in front of him, yeah?" He pushed Minseok forward, making him stumble. The whole class laughed at the boy. He stood up and walked awkwardly to his chair. He set his things down beside the desk and slipped in. Mr. Jo began the lesson and Minseok pulled out his notebook to begin to take notes. Luhan leaned forwards closer to Minseok and brought his pencil close to the back of his neck. Luhan ran his fingers over the sweater vest, so lightly that Minseok didn't even notice. He chuckled to himself. This kid must be really poor. The sweater vest outfit was the cheapest uniform option the school had. He smirked and pressed the cold metal end of his pencil to the exposed area of Minseok's neck. Minseok gasped loudly and jumped in his seat, making Mr. Jo stop the lesson. He turned to look at the source of the sound and saw Minseok with his hand on the back of his neck, looking startled.
"Is there a problem, Minseok?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Minseok coughed and panicked.
"N-no sir! I just, find the Korean war to be very......... Surprising?" Minseok choked out some bullshit excuse. Mr. Jo shrugged and continued the lesson. Minseok turned around and glared at Luhan. He looked as innocent as he possibly could. He had his head tilted and his slender fingers were wrapped around the side of his face, holding it up. He looked so fucking smug, it made Minseok's blood boil. The class was only about 45 minutes long but it felt like two hours with Luhan pestering him. When it let out, Minseok quickly gathered up his belongings and made for the door. On the way out he collided with another kid, who stumbled back and hit his head on the door frame. Minseok dropped his books and ran to the other boys side.
"Oh my God, are you okay?? I'm so sorry!" He asked frantically. The boy laughed a bit and fanned Minseok off of him. He stood up and rubbed his head with hand.
"Don't worry about it, I'm fine. Are you okay?" He asked nicely. Minseok nodded. The other boy shook himself out a bit and stuck out his hand.
"I'm Junmyeon." He introduced. Minseok took the hand and shook it.
"You already know me." He laughed a bit. Junmyeon nodded his head. The two walked out together.
"So, next class?" He asked. Minseok pulled out his schedule and looked at it for a moment.
"Uhhh, Literature with Ms. Hwang." He said with a bit of uncertainty. Junmyeon brightened.
"Oh, you'll love her! She's great. Super nice, really understanding, and she's dating the head master. So if you're in good with her, you're in good with everyone." Junmyeon winked. Minseok laughed a bit before making a realization that made him stop in his tracks. Junmyeon looked back at him confused.
"Wait, isn't the head master, a head mistress?" He asked. Junmyeon nodded. Minseok rubbed the back of his neck and kept walking.
"Christ, is everyone in this school gay?" He mumbled to himself, not knowing that Junmyeon heard him.
"Yah! I'm not gay!" He snapped. Minseok looked up quickly.
"Sorry! I didn't mean you! Just, a bunch of people I've met so far are." Minseok explained. Junmyeon quirked a brow.
"Who else?"
"Byun Baekhyun and Kim Jong- I mean, Chen. That Amber girl looks like she might be a lesbian, but I can't be certain. And I'm not sure, but I think Kris and Tao might be dating." Minseok answered. Junmyeon gasped and a few heads turned towards the two boys. Junmyeon clamped a hand over Minseok's mouth and dragged him into an empty hallway quickly. Minseok pried his hand away.
