9. It's over...

as yibo hear zhan getting out of the shower, he feel his anger increasing very quickly until zhan enters the room.

"hi babe, come here and give me a good night kiss." said zhan.

yibo dodged the kiss.

"what's wrong? are you upset?" asked zhan.

"no, i'm pretty fine. why would i be upset? it's such a magical thing to find out that your boyfriend is a big liar. this is why you were acting so strange earlier!" said yibo.

"okay, calm down, why don't you tell me what's going on?" asked zhan.

"so you still won't confess?" asked yibo.

"confess to what?!" asked zhan.

"that you knew everything from the start! you knew what our parents were planning from the beginning. you were okay with their plans, and all this time you blamed them for what they did but you were just as bad as them." said yibo.

"how did you find out?" asked zhan.

"is that important? you know what? i'm done, we're over." said yibo.

"wait, let me explain! i swear there's an explanation." said zhan.

"i don't want to hear it. nothing that you can say make this okay." said yibo.

"please just give me 5 minutes." said zhan.

"no, i can't. not after you lied to me." said yibo.

"so what? this is it? are you breaking up with me?" asked zhan.

"how can i still be with you? you're a totally different person to me now. for a while, you were everything that's left for me in the world. now i'm glad i met new people. i hope they won't disappoint me and break my heart as you did." said yibo.

"you're throwing this away for a small lie?" asked zhan.

"i don't trust you anymore." said yibo.

"after everything we went through? you can't be serious. this can't end this way." said zhan.

"then how come it is." said yibo.

"please don't go, we can work through this." said zhan.

"i'm sorry." said yibo.

he leave the room but he's not sure where to go.

suddenly he see noah coming his way.

"yibo? is something wrong? you look sad? where is zhan?" asked noah.

"well we kinda had a fight... and we kinda broke up..." said yibo.

"i'm so sorry!" said noah.

"i'm also technically homeless now." said yibo.

"you can come to my room." said noah.

noah smirks at him, and his smile is so charming that yibo can't even reject his invitation.

"okay okay joking! i'm not gonna do anything, i'm a perfect gentleman." said noah.

as yibo walk at night he see zhan hugging jacky.

"i'm glad i made the right choice and didn't talk to him." said yibo.

yibo and zhan look at each other straight in the eyes with a deadly look.

when yibo was in the room, suddenly someone pushes him and he fall to the ground, when he turn to see who his attacker was, he see a mysterious guy with a mask on.

"is that you zhan, under a costume? you think you can scare me? stop being this childish, please." said yibo.

stranger gets closer and closer to him and stays silent. he suddenly takes out his kniffe.

suddenly yibo hear footsteps approaching, he see a male's shadow on his door.

'is that another attacker?' thinks yibo.

he's so relieved when he see zhan silently entering the room.

'thank god, the attacker has his back to him, zhan can try to rescue me now.' thinks yibo.

the mysterious guy suddenly tries to stab yibo but zhan pushes him away from him and starts punching him.

the attacker takes his knife and tries to stab zhan but he takes his hands and stabs him instead in his neck.

"oh my god yibo! are you okay?" asked zhan.

"yes... i'm fine but i'm still in shock tho. did you... did you kill him?" asked yibo.

"i don't know." said zhan.

yibo check his pulse.

"yes he's dead." said yibo.

"the important thing is that you're okay." said zhan.

"not really... i almost got killed! thank you for saving me, now i should go." said yibo.

"where are you going?" asked zhan.

"i need fresh air. i'm sorry." said yibo.

"you're just gonna leave like that?" asked zhan.

"i'm sorry." said yibo.

"you know what? i'll go." said zhan.

he left just like that without looking back. noah rush into his room and his face is worried and shocked.

"i heard you screaming! are you okay?"asked noah.

"i kinda was almost killed..." said yibo.

"by zhan?!!" asked noah.

"no i was actually gonna get killed by this mysterious intruder. but zhan saved me and killed him." said yibo.

"oh my god! are you okay?" asked noah.

"i am not sure... still traumatized." said yibo.

noah find a detective named jacob.

"i've found very important information about your attacker, yibo." said jacob.
