You leaned on the bus as you watched as everyone climbed down the ladder that led to the top of the bus and to the wall. As you were adjusting your mask, you heard ashlyn's voice talk "alright, let's go over the plan one more time." Hearing this you turned your head to ashlyn, but your eyes quickly turned to taylor when she spoke. "...Um-"
"Are we uh- we sure we want to do this?" Taylor says as she looks down. And when you heard this you raised an eyebrow. 'She's not..-"
"...What?" Ashlyn spoke in confusion as her eyebrows lowered, "I mean- m-maybe just staying in the graveyard every night wouldn't be... So bad, right? Especially with the lights up... Couldn't we just hide in here until the 7 hours are up?" Taylor suggests as logan agrees, "I-I like that idea..." Logan spoke and you immediately turned your head towards him as you felt your right eye twitched. 'Pardon? After all the time i spent teaching you how to aim?! You better take that back.'
"Are you serious...?" Ashlyn spoke as she lowered her arms, "i thought you guys wanted out of here? And now you're saying you don't mind being stuck in here for the rest of our lives?"
"And you- why are you being so quiet?" Ashlyn asks while turning over to tyler, but tyler doesn't answer nor look back at her. "You're the one who pitched a fit wanting to go to savannah, so why are you being passive about it now?" Ashlyn asks and you could see tyler flinched before turning to ashlyn.
"That was before we knew about the lights and before there was a horde of those things right outside the door! I'm not saying that we should stop trying to find a way out- just not with this particular plan. We don't really need guns anymore right?" Tyler said, and you immediately lowered and sat on the floor already knowing where this conversation was headed. 'oh no...'
