Ashlyn walks up to the front door and turned the doorknob before sliding the door open. And when she did she was met by a brown hair woman with a kind smile on her face "Who are you?" She asks as the woman stares at her. "Hello." The woman greets her with a tray of food in hand
"Mom!" A voice behind her calls put, making the woman turn her head around and when she turns around, ashlyn saw the twins coming over. "Why'd you go off without us?" Tyler says while approaching them with another tray of food while taylor followed behind while carrying the presents for lily.
"Oh, sorry dear. I thought you were behind me" their mom says in an apologetic tone. "I was helping taylor grab the food and presents." Tyler tells his mother while ashlyn stood in the entrance with a curious expression. 'so this is their mom?' ashlyn says in her mind as she stares at the lady.
"So are you gonna let us in or what?" Tyler questions ashlyn while his sister greets her from behind him. "Dont be rude, honey." Their mom replies to tyler's comment.
"Actually everyone is in the graveyard. I was just waiting for you guys here. But you guys can go ahead, i'm still waiting for y/n-" ashlyn spoke but cuts herself off when she feels her phone vibrate in her pocket, and she took it out and her eyebrow raised when she sees a notification coming from y/n.

After reading the texts and responding to it, ashlyn puts her phone away and turns her gaze back to the twins and their mom. "Who was that?" Taylor asks. "Y/n, she said her and her parents would be arriving late and not to wait for her." Ashlyn says before stepping out and closing the door behind her. "Come on let's head to the graveyard now."
In the graveyard
"Mom, dad, they're here." Ashlyn says as her, the twins, and their mom come over to the graveyard. "Oh great, everyone's here then-" mike says but cuts himself off when he and emma noticed y/n and her parents were not following behind her. "Wait wheres y/n and her parents?" Emma asks ashlyn, as mike went past ashlyn to go greet emma while ashlyn approaches her mom. "She said they were going to be late and will be here soon and said to not wait for them." Ashlyn repeated and her mom raised her eyebrows. "Oh, okay then." Emma says before turning her head towards the twin's mom before heading over to take the tray of food out of her hands while mike goes ahead and introduces himself.
"I'm glad you could make it! Im mike, ashlyn's dad." Mike introduces himself before bringing his hand out for her to shake. "Yes, me too. Im mariana. Thanks for inviting us. It's a shame my husband couldn't make it," Mariana says, and the twins immediately froze. "Unfortunately he's at work right now, haha." She continues and the twins let out a sigh in unison as their shoulders relaxed.
"Or... At least i thought he was...? But he should've been home a few hours ago... Huh, that's weird... why didn't he come."
"M-Mom! Look, a bunny!" Taylor exclaims as she points at a bunny that was peacefully eating grass that was growing from the floor.
There was a short silence for a moment, before a smile then appears on mariana's face "It's cute." Mariana states with a sweet smile.
"...I want to pet it." Lily says as she had her head turned to where the bunny was. "Want me to catch it for you?" Aiden asks and lily turns her head to him. "You can catch it?" Lily questions. "Of course i can! Just watch." Aiden says before turning and then bolting to the bunny at full speed, and upon seeing this the bunny starts to quickly run away.
"It's no match for me!" Aiden exclaims as he chases after the bunny. But before he could catch it, ashlyn slides in front of the bunny stopping it from running away as she looks down at it menacingly, before picking it up from the floor and heading over to lily and aiden just follows behind.
Then, as lily was petting the bunny, two figures were then seen entering the graveyard, "Ah they're here" mike says as he raises his head up and there was shown y/n and her aunt walking over, y/n was carrying the present as her aunt carried the tray of food.
"Hello, sorry if we just came! We brought adobo! Oh and also puto" Y/n says as her and her aunt approaches. Emma went ahead to greet y/n's aunt while you placed the presents down with the other present on the floor before turning around and heading over to where the others were all standing.
"Hello, it's nice to finally meet you in person camila." Emma says as she holds her hand out. "It's nice to meet you in person too emma." Camila says as she shook emma's hand.
As you approached the others, your eyes lit up when you saw lily, "ah this must be our birthday girl, lily! Happy birthday." Y/n says with a smile. "Mhm! Thank you!" Lily exclaims and you could feel yourself almost dying from her cuteness.
"Is there anything you
want to do, lily?"-aiden
"How about red light green light?"

to night time
"-and then aiden set it on fire." Jessica finishes, and naomi perks up, "oh i remember that!" Naomi exclaims.
"Logan needs to hang out with that boy more, he's always cautious and timid. He needs to get out and live life, not be afraid of it." Mary states, and jessica nods, "that's true, though i do think aiden could stand to acquire some of logan's calm demeanor as well haha." Jessica says, "it's weird, aiden used to be such a quiet kid" daniel adds.
You watched as the adults had their conversation while sitting down on a tire somewhere near the others. "Do they not realize how late it is? It's almost midnight." Tyler stated, annoyed.
"Alright let's go." Ashlyn says, and you and the rest stood up to go. "Hey, dad, we're going to the bus right quick to grab something. We'll be back in a minute." Ashlyn tells her dad while ben handed lily over to their mother before you guys walked off.
"Haha, i'm surprised she's still awake. Now that i think about it, it's getting pretty late." Emma mentions as she looks over to lily who was now sitting on her mother's lap and resting her head on her chest looking sleepy but still kept her eyes opened slightly.
"Well it's actually been a little hard to get any sleep lately." Naomi stated. "Oh? Why's that?" Mike questions looking a bit curious. Upon hearing this question, naomi and william exchanged glances. "Well..." Naomi starts. "...it's kind of crazy." William finishes, before continuing.
"We keep seeing strange
things lately."
