Ajith grabbed his head as the loud scream echoed in the spacious hall.

His friend had gone mad, madder every next second.

He couldn't help but feel helplessness in his nerves.

He can't save anyone now, neither his friend nor Pihu, nor anyone.
Everybody's life was at stake because of his friend.
He calculated that this would happen when he got to know about Pihu's move.

Now, only god could do something.

But more than anyone, he prayed for the poor girl.

May god protect her from his friend, who have became a complete heartless monster, who would go to any extent for his obsession, his Pihu...

Radha Maa shuddered after hearing the loud screaming, as Ajith grabbed her shoulder to calm her down.

"He has gone m-mad...", Radha maa's voice shivered as well as her whole being.

Ajith just shook his head as he was at lose of words.

"She don't even like him, right?", She asked while holding his hand.

"Kisi janwar se koi pyar kar sakta hai kya?", Ajith questioned with a hard face.

Shaking her head, she stood up.

"I can't see him like this!", She exclaimed.

His constant scream, crying was making her heart clench in pain.

"You know him...", Ajith stated the fact.

"What can we do?", Radha Maa asked innocently.

"Uss ladki ko jaan se mar dalega woh, Radha Maa. Pagal ho chuka hai woh...",
Ajith declared desperately, trying to make her understand the situation.

(He will kill that girl, Radha Maa. He have became a mad man...)

"But he also deserves too be happy, Ajith",
Radha Maa explained.

First his mother and now this girl.

"If I bring her here, then instead of his scream, her will echo in this house!",
Ajith yelled at the old lady.

She wasn't getting the gravity of the situation.

Radha Maa just slumped on the chair while breathing heavily.

A loud glass crushing sound came.

There eyes now snapped to the door upstairs.
Radha Maa's breathing getting uneven.

"Maa...", He rubbed his palm against her back, trying to calm her down.

Now, everything felt like it was going in vain. Ajith words were nothing to Deven.
He realised. He was a monster, he is and always will be. Nothing could change him now.

And about Pihu, yes, Deven loved her,
Yes, in his own sadistic way.
But now he realised that his love will also ruin the girl.

He won't come out from the darkness, instead, will cage the girl in his darkness.

"She should have atleast considered his proposal, right?", A frown taking place between his thick eyebrows.

"She did and then she denied, very politely maa. It just he can't seem to take it!", Ajith interjected while rubbing the side of his temple to calm his mind.

Ajith stood up and made up his mind.

Taking steady steps towards upstairs, to the room.

"Where-", Radha Maa was cutted by a short reply which brought another storm in her heart.

"To help my friend, maa..."

Pihu's eyes red, face flushed with tears. Body shivering.

Her trembling body could tell anyone how much terrified she was.

The secluded place terrified her more.
She was alone in this place.

The cold breeze caressed her hair strands, while she shivered in cold.

Suddenly her whole being shivered uncontrollably, goosebumps rose on her body.

She felt him near her.

He will kill her...
He will kill her...

Pihu closed her eyes while taking deep breath but her calmness was short-lived,
When a whisper echoed in the deserted
place.

She pulled her legs more close to her chest. She just wanted to vanish.

She just wanted to die.

"Pihuuu....", The way he prolonged her name, crept her being out.

"You will not listen to me....again.",
His deep baritone echoed.
Scaring the already scared-girl.

She whimpered.

Suddenly her hair was taken in a searing grip, making her stand on her trembling legs. Her eyes snapped to his dark ones.

The thunder struck brought her out from the slumber.

It was a dream!

It was a dream!

Her face fully covered from sweat, her eyes took her surrounding, she was safe.

Looking outside the window, the city glowed with light, where she was in darkness, with no one by her side.

Because of him, she had to leave everyone.

Taking deep breath, she chanted her lord's name to vanish his fear from her heart.

After a good time with her God, she layed down on the bed.

With a determining thought, that he would never be able to find her.

Never...
