CHAPTER :- 37 [An Old Friend]

Y/N POV :-

Jungshu asked me that if I really don't remember her which made me confused so I asked her " who are you really , jungshu ?" Hearing me she sighed and said " I am your old friend y/n we are friends since we were 10 . " I was surprised at her comment then I said " jungshu what are you even talk-" then I stopped as it hit my mind that my memories were erased . Seeing me silent she said " actually I know something about your past ."

I raised my eyebrow at her sentence and she spoke " y/n I know . Something happened with you . That's why you don't remember me . I know you memories were erased . " I looked at her shocked when she said so . " how ?" I asked . She said " it's obvious, we were friends for almost 5 years . And now went we met you don't even remember my face . " Then I asked " why , didn't you said this earlier ? When you saw that I don't recognize you ?"

" y/n I knew since the beginning that you memories were erased. My father's friend is the doctor who erased your memories on Mr. Kim's saying . That doctor's son is my good friend. He told me that you came there for some check ups and then one day he heard his father's and Mr. Kim talking about erasing your memories. I tries to contact you many times knowing it . But you never picked my call . " she answered.

" then , why didn't you came to my house to tell me ?" I asked and she chuckled while saying " how could I ? I was in U.S for my own treatment . " " treatment ? For what ?" I questioned her again . " I have several breathing problems since birth . And that's why I mainly work from headquarters or my home . I am one of the main hackers  who works under mark . That's the only reason why mark sent me to assist you ." " jungshu ...... if you have such problem then why you joined this under world ? You could have stayed and lived a normal life . "  I said to which she just smiled .

" y/n there is no difference between this life and normal life for me . Infact this way I feel better . " she said . " come on jungshu , stop taking in puzzles . Tell me straight " I said now getting irritated from her talks . " fine , as I told you we became friends when we were 10 . But before you there was no one for me . My own parents neglected me seeing me so weak . I was like a burden to them . When they got to know that I have breathing problems they completely left me . Like a toy which is broken ." She said as tears made their way .

" I was so sick of all things so I-I made a decision one day . That was s-suicide. I went to the han river Bridge to e-end it all . And went I was about to just a hand pulled me backward . I was scared at first but then he said 'relax , I am going to hurt you and stop hurting yourself too' . Then I realized what I was about to do . After I calm down he said 'if you want to pay back then join my gang' I told him that I want to but I have breathing problem then he said 'you can be a hacker , a really good one ' so I finally gave in and joined him ." She spoke further .

" and that person was Mark , right ?" I asked to which she nodded . " y/n do you remember my crush on jungkook ?" She asked while blushing a bit . I smiled teasingly and said " yes I do " she said " y/n , you know the reason why I haven't confessed to him yet ?" Then I frowned and said " no , why ?" " because I am scared ." She said " why are you scared ? He is a really good guy . " I said and she shook her head saying " I know he is a good guy but I am scared because I don't want to give him false hope of love and then leave him "

" come on jungshu , why would you leave him ? Huh ?" I said while shaking her and she said " because I don't even know how long I am gonna live . This disease is killing me slowly . You know every night I sleep thinking that 'maybe this is the last sunset I saw ' . Tell me h-how would I give him h-hope of s-staying with him for the e-entire life when I don't even know that will I be able to see the next s-sunrise or not ?" She was sobbing till now while speaking .

I hugged her and said " no , jungshu you will live long I am consulting you to the best doctors in the world-" " you don't get it y/n !!!!" She said cutting me off . " there is no cure of my disease. " she said as I just listened . " my last doctor gave me a rough idea of my days left which is around 2 months . The only thing on which I am able to do everything till now is this" as she showed me a pill which was looking bluish black in color. " I always carry this with me incase I feel uneasy . I take this . " she said .

" but I never saw you taking this in school " I said and she rolled her eyes and said " tell me how much you come to school y/n ." I just smiled sheepishly at her . Then she said " y/n now promise me that you will take care of him please . Don't let him know about my illness . Okay " " but jungshu-" " please y/n , please . Just fulfill this wish of mine . Think this as my last wish from you . Please " she said cutting me off again . Holding my hands tightly . " fine " I said as we hugged for the last time .

As She was about zo go to her room my phone rang and I saw it was jimin hyung . I picked up and said " hello hyung , why are you calling this late ?" " no time to explain y/n come to the mansion right now " he said panting as I heard the call ending . " what happened y/n ?" Jungshu asked . " jimin hyung called we have to go to the mansion right now " I said and we both went down and informed taemi and miyoung . Then we all left for the mansion.
