The Demigod Across the Sea

Chapter 4

[Izuku's POV]

We were just stepping out onto the beach and it was almost empty. I think that was the plan so we could reserve our own spot on the beach. We all brought our bags and found a good area to settle.

When we do, I take off my shirt since I was already dressed for the beach. That was a smarter choice rather than having to change here. Most other people had the same idea too.

When we were all ready, we started to get ready for a big game of volleyball. We split up the class evenly and we convinced Mr. Aizawa to be the referee for the game. He signaled the start of the game and we all started to play.

We decided no quirks in the game, which was a very good choice considering how dodgeball days go. It was about fifteen minutes before one of the teams won. After that we split up between playing another game or going in the water. Of course, I went in the water as soon as I could. I didn't bring my camera with me, but I figured I would have time for that later. For now, I was just going to swim

"DON'T GO TOO FAR MIDORIYA!" yells Iida as I come up for air.

"OKAY IIDA!" I yell back.

Then I go underwater again and swim more. There were so many fish here and they all looked so beautiful and free. Then I saw a black, orange, and white Achilles Tang fish.

'Is it natural for them to grow that big?' I think to myself. I stop where I am to admire the fish and it swims closer to me, so I wave to it.

Then it goes to nudge my trident, and it's about to fall, when I hold it. Then the fish swims a little bit away, and I put my trident back where it was. Then I look up to try and search for the fish and see it looking at me.

I'm about to swim to it when it suddenly swims to me. It looked like it was swimming as fast as it could, which was pretty fast. Then it changed form to an eel and it's speed picks up greatly.

'They're already here?!' I think.

Then I try to swim away, but the eel then catches up to me. It then changes into a dolphin and grabs me with it's fin and continues to swim, only this time it's away from the group. I see Tsu then look underwater and then pops above it, probably alerting the group that I'm getting dragged away by a dolphin.

I struggle and see the sand get closer. There's also a lot of shade over here. Suddenly the dolphin jumps and brings me with him. In the air, the dolphin changes into a person and then lands. Meanwhile I land on the sand and roll.

"This is him" a male voice says in English.

I look up and see a group of seven people. Three females and four males, one of them being the shifter. I recognized them, they were the people who kept showing up in my dreams, the people who fought Gaia. The Prophesized 7. I try to get up and then I'm met with a sword in front of my face

"Don't try, we've got you captured now" a familiar voice says, also in English. It was the same kid that kept showing up in my dreams. My brother

"This is a misunderstanding, please" I try to reason with them, but the sword only inches closer to my face

"Misunderstanding? Yeah right" scoffs another male voice. This one is a blond in a purple shirt belonging to Camp Jupiter

"If you could just try to listen-"

"No, you listen" the girl with the braid said.

I stopped talking and was waiting for someone to say something. My mind wanted to try and explain, but my body wasn't responding to me, it was responding to the girl. It was her power as a child of Aphrodite

"We don't know what you've done or what you're planning, but you will be coming with us to Olympus before anything bad happens" explains another girl with blond hair.

It wasn't the blond like the guys though, his was lighter. They started to walk to me and I backed up and spoke again, the affect of the girls power wearing off

"Wait, hold on! Uh... let's fight!" I exclaim they stop and look at me. They don't look like they're very willing to cooperate. At least they stopped

"I won't go with you willingly, at least not now. We fight and if you win, I'll go peacefully with you to Olympus. If I win, you let me speak" I say

"Let you speak? You're making quite a gamble for a chance so little" states the boy with black hair

"It's not like you're giving me the chance now. Plus, it's seven against one, you guys have the advantage" I retort.

They all look at each other and the boy with the sword is about to say something when the girl with the blond hair speaks up

"You're gonna trick us, there's no way you'd be willing to do this without having some sort of trick or there being a catch to this fight" she says

"There are no tricks I would use. Not here at least. I would assume that as a child of Athena you'd be able to spot them though, so they have a safe guard with you" I say, making them all shocked

"How-" she starts to ask what I'm assuming would be how I knew who her mother is, but I interrupt her

"I'll explain once the fight is over. If you wish, you can judge and instruct this fight how you wish" I say

"But how can you trust that she'll be fair?" asks a girl with curly brown hair

"She'd have to be. Especially with them" I say, pointing behind me.

I see them look shocked and I turn to see my class behind me. I could hear them coming, but I guess that they were too focused on me to notice them

"Midoriya, are you okay?!" asks Iida

"Who are they?" asks Kirishima

"I don't really know them, but they're under the assumption that I am a villain and want to take me to America" I explain, trying to word it the best I could without giving too much away

"NO WAY ARE THEY TAKING YOU-" before Bakugo can continue his sentence interrupt him

"We're gonna fight. If I fail, I go with them. Please don't intervene though. This needs to be fair." I say

"Midoriya, it's seven against one! *kero*" exclaims Tsu

"Six and one" corrects a voice behind me. It belongs to the blond girl.

I should have guessed she would study Japanese. She then walks to the side and stands there with her arms crossed

"Can you guys back up? And please, no matter what you do, don't try to intervene" I say. They hesitantly do so and I look back at the group

"Okay then, I'm ready, how are we doing this?" I ask in English
