Rabies (Part 3)

Sarah, Yuan and Eddie are walking in the woods to Eddies place while carrying their things. Eddie tells them about his experience about living in their for 11 years of his life.

"I live in here for a long time already. But i only experience this kind of weird stuff just this time." Eddie is talking about the dogs he sees in the forest.

They then reach a wooden house and Sarah and Yuan looks at it.

"We're here. This is where i lived." The three of them walks towards it and Eddie enters the open door.

Sarah and Yuan gets inside and they both look around the place. Eddie told them to take a seat in the bamboo chair. They sits in there and Eddie calls someone which is probably his wife before he goes to the kitchen.

A woman that looks the same age as Eddie appear behind the curtains in the kitchen and Sarah stands up and say hi to her.

"Hi... Im Maricar. You are?" Maricar ask.

"Im Sarah. And this is my fiance Yuan." Yuan stands up and say hi to her.

"What are you guys doing in such a dangerous place like this?" Maricar ask them.

"Sorry, but should we leave already?" Sarah ask as she sits back in the chair with Yuan.

"That's not what i mean. Its not even that bad." Maricar said.

Eddie arrives and give Sarah and Yuan some coffee which they accept with a thank you.

Sarah looks at the old photos that is hanging on the walls. It's probably a picture of their kids. Sarah ask some questions about them and Maricar said that they already have their own family.

Maricar also told them a story about each one of their 5 childrens. The couple is so kind to them.

Night-

Maricar and Eddie are already done eating dinner with Sarah and Yuan and Maricar puts the dishes to their sink. Sarah ask if she can help them with anything so she can pay them back with their kindness.

Eddie ask Sarah to puts the bones of the chicken that they eat earlier on the outside. But she warn her that if she place that on the ground, she should come back immediately. And Sarah just nods.

She takes the plates of the leftover bones and she walks outside the house. She stands in there and looks around. It's dark and nothing is in there. So she just walk towards the ground which is a few meters away and she place the chicken bones in there before she walks back to the house.

She look back one more time before she close the door. Right when something takes the bones she place on the ground and runs away...

Sarah and Yuan are lying in the bed in the room that the couple offers them.

"Yuan, they're so nice right?" Sarah said as she looks at the open window.

"Yeah. Why?"

"I just wondering... They are opposite of your parents..." Sarah said and Yuan looks at her.

"Im sorry." Yuan said with a worried look.

"It's not your fault. And i completely forgot about them. So it's not a big deal."

"Do you still want my parents to be on our wedding?" Yuan ask.

"If it's okay for you."

Yuan just nods and he kiss Sarah before they both go to sleep.

The next day in the morning...

Sarah walks out of the room and she sees Maricar folding some clothes in the living room.

"Good morning." Maricar said while she's folding the clothes.

"You too." Sarah said with a smile at her. "Do you need help?"

"No. I can do this." Maricar just keeps folding the clothes in the table.

Sarah notice that Eddie is not in there. "Where's Eddie?" She ask.

"He left in the early morning. He's probably going to the town. Its really far from here so he might take a few hours to come back." Sarah just nods.

But right after she said that, Eddie comes back while calling Maricar's name. Sarah looks at Eddie who enters the house and Maricar stands up and looks at him.

"You're not gonna believe this Maricar, I've seen a lot of them!" Eddie said.

"Wait, what? A lot?" Maricar ask.

Sarah have no idea what they're talking about. Yuan also walks out of the room after hearing Eddie's voice.

"Sorry, but what do you mean?" Sarah ask and Eddie looks at her.

"Yuan, Sarah, i lied." Eddie said and the younger couple frown in confusion. "I lied about that DOME." Eddie said.

"Wait, you know something about the dome?" Sarah ask.

Eddie walks towards the window and looks outside. "I actually enter that dome. And i saw everything. I saw that some people do something to the animals that they capture anywhere... They want to experiment the dogs inside that dome. So i can't be wrong that all the crazy things that i see in this place started from that dome." Eddie said and turns to them.

"Eddie, what do you mean we need to get out of here?" Maricar ask.

"Well, before, i can only see a few dogs in this place. Now it become worst. Now there's a lot of them and they are even crazier this time."

"Where did you saw them?" Sarah worriedly ask.

"I didn't saw them. They saw me..." Eddie pulls up the sleeve of his clothes and reveals a big bite mark in his arm and all of them are shock.

"Oh god..." Maricar said.

"You have to get out of here now." Eddie said to Sarah and Yuan.

"How about you guys?" Sarah ask.

"We can take care of ourselves. Just go." Eddie said and Sarah and Yuan takes their things and get ready to leave.

"Be careful okay." Maricar told them and Sarah and Yuan nods.

They both say goodbye to the older couple before they exit their house and leaves. The two of them walks along the path that they walk the other day.

"Eddie can't be lying right. So there's really a crazy dogs in this place?" Yuan said as they continue walking.

"I think so. Yuan, we have to get out of here if that's true, we might be in danger right now."

"I just hope that they're safe."

They then both hears some birds flying in the sky from the forest. It look like they got startled by something. Sarah and Yuan looks up to them in the sky...
