Rabies (Part 4)

Sarah and Yuan arrives at the location where they left their car.

"Yuan, do you really think they will be alright?" Sarah is talking about the couple. "Im kinda worried about them. Did you see that bite mark to Eddie's arms? It looks like it can only be left by a monster." Sarah said.

"I think they will be fine. Lets just pray that nothing bad happens to them. Lets go." They continue walking until they reach their car.

Sarah notice something and she tap Yuan's shoulder that make him stop and looks and where Sarah is looking.

They notice a big scratch mark in their car door.

"What the... My car!" Sarah said.

"I think we better get out of here..." Yuan said.

Suddenly, they heard a noise like something running in the plants... They both look at it and they didn't check it anymore and just gets inside the car.

"C'mon, i wanna get out of here..." Sarah said as she puts her seatbelt on and starts to drive away out of there.

They keep driving in the woods for a while until Sarah realized that she doesn't know where to go.

"Yuan, where did we go last time?" Sarah ask Yuan.

"I don't know... You're the one that drives the car right?" Yuan said.

"Well you're the one who have the map right?" Sarah said. She stops the car and let Yuan check the map to his phone.

He struggles a bit of using it and he sigh. "Okay... Just go straight that way..." Yuan points in the path in front of them.

Sarah starts the car again and drives away while Yuan tells her the directions.

Meanwhile...

Maricar is walking in a dirt path while carrying a basket. She is walking pass the trees until she heard some sounds.

She looks to her sorroundings and just ignores it. Until she heard a running sounds.

She stops and turns around. "Is anybody there?" Maricar keeps looking around and she then heard a running sound behind her.

She turn around real quick and she saw something run towards her. She screams while she's being attack with something.

Sarah and Yuan hears some screaming sounds while they are driving. Sarah suddenly stops and looks at Yuan.

"You hear that?" Sarah ask him.

"Yeah i heard it too. I think someone is screaming..." Yuan and Sarah gets out of the car and they start looking around the place to find where the sound came from.

They both walks to the woods and Yuan and Sarah saw a nearby lake. Sarah didn't just saw a lake, she also saw something that make her frown.

She run towards it while Yuan follows her. When Sarah reach it, her eyes widen and Yuan covers his mouth when they saw Maricar's dead body on the ground. She looks like she gets eaten by a cannibal.

"Noooo!" Sarah screams as she covers her mouth. "Sh- She's dead!"

"Sarah, we have to get out of here. C'mon..." Yuan pulls her and they both run away to go back to the car.

But right when they're in the middle of running, something attacks her feet and she screams in pain.

Yuan stops and he looks at Sarah that is getting attack by a white puppy?

Sarah tries to get the small creature away by kicking her feet rapidly until the puppy flies away and ended up on the ground. Then it runs away and disappear.

"Hey are you ok?" Yuan worriedly ask.

Sarah looks down at her feet and nods. "Im fine. What the heck?!" She looks at the direction where the puppy go.

Then something even scarier appear. They heard a dog barking and they saw a big husky from a far distance barking at them then run towards them.

They're eyes widen and they both step backwards. "Oh sh*t!" Yuan immediately finds something useful. He saw a thin branch and he immediately picks it up.

He's not gonna use it to play fetch with the dog to escape... Instead, he waits for the dog to approach them and before it attacks them, Yuan stabs the dog with a branch. Right deep in the eye.

Then Yuan steps back in shock as he looks at the dead dog in front of them. He can't believe he just did that.

Then he and Sarah proceed to run away out of there. They are about to reach their car when they saw something in front of them that makes them stop.

They saw a different breeds of dogs staring at them and growling at them. There's like 6 of them.

Sarah and Yuan prepares to run until the dogs start chasing them. They both scream and runs away in full speed and don't know where to go.

They keep running for their life while the dogs keep chasing them.

"Sh*t! Come on Yuan!" Sarah looks behind her real quick and the dogs are still chasing them.

They see an abandoned house while they're running and they immediately run towards it. They are super lucky that the doors are open.

Sarah and Yuan runs inside and Yuan immediately close the door right before the dogs enter.

Sarah sigh in relief and catch her breath as she sits on the floor. Yuan sits beside her.

"So the dogs in this place are really real." Yuan said.

"What are we going to do?" Sarah ask. "I think we should wait for them to go away. It's so dangerous out there. And worst of all... Maricar's dead!" Sarah stands up.

"Where's Eddie? Do you think he's alive?"

"I hope so..." Sarah looks at the window then she walk towards it. She peeks through the window and looks outside. She sees a lot of dogs walking around in there!

She looks at Yuan. "Yuan, where's your phone?"

Yuan then look to both of his pocket and he realized he left it in the car. "I left it in the car..." Yuan said as he stands up.

"What?! How can we get out of here alive?" Sarah sigh and sits on the chair in front of the table.
