Rabies (Part 5)

Yuan walks closer to her to calm her down. "Don't worry Sarah, we will get out of here alive. I promise." Yuan hugs her.

"I just want to make good memories with you. Is that too much? I didn't even wish any of this to happen to us..."

Yuan kneel beside Sarah and sigh. "You did. Sarah, even if we die here, you're still the one that i love. I love you whatever happens."

Sarah looks at him and she slowly smiles and she and Yuan hugs each other.

Then Sarah notice something on the floor. She pulls back from the hug and she stands up. Yuan also stand up and looks at her. "What's wrong?"

Sarah just walk towards on what she sees on the floor. It's a rifle. The same one that Eddie have. She then looks in the open door that leads to a room and she see Eddie's body in there!

"What the frick!" Yuan looks at that room and he sees Eddie's body.

All this time he is just lying lifeless in there... His left hand is holding his neck with big bite mark. It looks like he escape the dog's attacks but he didn't escape death. He looks like he died from blood loss.

Yuan just close the door and looks at the rifle on the floor. He takes it and he looks at it.

"Maybe we can use this." Yuan suggested. He checks the bullets and sees that they're empty. "But it has no bullets."

"What? Maybe Eddie have some." Sarah said and Yuan walks back into the room and he goes to Eddie's dead body and checks his pockets.

But he only found two bullets before he walks out of the room and close the door again.

"I only found two." Yuan said.

"Well i guess we really have to be so careful." Sarah said. "I think we should wait until the dogs go away if they find something to eat then we can run towards the car to escape."

"You're right. But for now... Let's think how this place ended up with crazy dogs. Do you remember that dog collars we saw on the lake? I think that belongs to all the dogs in here."

"Just like what Eddie said, people kidnap the dogs and uses them for an experiment. In the dome..."

"What the heck is wrong with them?! Did they do this on purpose?"

"Or maybe their experiment gone wrong..." Sarah and Yuan looks at each other while thinking about it.

Afternoon...

Sarah and Yuan almost fell asleep in the house and Sarah wakes up. She is leaning her head to Yuan's shoulder. She looks in the window and she sees that it's already afternoon.

She looks at Yuan and shakes him to wake him up. "Yuan," Yuan slowly opens his eyes and looks at her. "It's afternoon." Sarah looks at the window and she didn't see anymore dogs outside. "And the dogs are gone." She looks at Yuan. "We can finally get out of here."

Sarah walk towards the door and Yuan stands up and follows her while holding the rifle. Sarah opens the door slowly and she steps outside while looking around the place.

"I think they are really gone... Let's go." They both walk away.

They follow the way that they go earlier and Yuan is in the front and he holds the rifle while he looks around to see if there's a dogs in there.

They keep walking until all of a sudden, a bulldog appears out of nowhere and attacks Yuan! Yuan fell on the ground and drops the rifle. Then Sarah screams his name as the bulldog bites Yuan's shoulder.
