"well it's a good thing you're not, then."

Valerie smiled at the crying girl in her arms, giving her a tight squeeze as she helped her to sit down onto the ground, hoping that would be at least of some kind of help.

"Don't worry," she spoke in a reassuring tone, leaning in and pressing a chaste kiss to her lips-- which was happily returned, for a few seconds, before the two parted. "I'll handle this."

As the brunette stood up, she turned to face Andrias, who was sitting impatiently at his throne, tapping his fingers. She gave him a strained smile-- the same kind Sasha had given her barely an hour before. "I don't think you know what I'm capable of."

She swore she could hear whispers echo in the room after she spoke, yet with this seemingly new intensified hearing, along with her crazy good vision that gave her a perfect view of everything around her, she couldn't find out where it was coming from.

The King snorted, unaware of what the girl was talking about. "Am I supposed to? You're nothing but an object in my way. You're no match for me."

Valerie sighed, feeling her eye twitch and turn gold for barely a split second, before it faded and she reached for her sheathe, grabbing out her knife and twirling it around innocently. "Well, since you're clearly clinically stupid, I'll point it out for you. Does the name..." she paused. "Gold, ring a bell in that brain of yours?"

Andrias's eyes seemed to narrow as he stood up in an angry manner. "Impossible! My father banished that frog-forsakened entity over a thousand years ago!"

"So did his father. And his father before that, and his father before that- it's been done for eons, and yet you just... forgot. Seriously."

It's your turn now.

OH MY FROG FINALLY- THANK YOU.

Valerie's eyes turned gold with that shiny exterior, her voice changing to a higher pitch-- one that was no longer her own, it was Gold's. "I thought you would have known better."

The air hung heavy as the newt's face changed (he seemed to be going through the five stages of grief), his face went from anger, to shock, to fear-- and then back to anger as laughing fell from the practically possessed girl's voice-box.

"O-Oh! You should see your face!" The sound of Valerie's usual voice was blended in with Gold's-- having some kind of almost static glitching effect as it switched back and forth through her words. To say it was creepy was an understatement, especially with the way one of her eyes also flickered from gold to her normal ones-- with those narrowed pupils, before they settled on just gold.

"That's..." The King-- for once, was lost for words. He really thought he'd have the upper hand in this situation, but here was this random, fourteen-year-old girl, who had somehow been chosen to hold the golden gem's extensive set of magic-based abilities.

"Now, usually, I would kill you on the spot," Goldrie said, spinning around and flicking the base of her hair. "Because, well-- we'd both absolutely relish in that," She leaned down, wiping the shocked Marcy's tears and smiling as she turned back around. "But unfortunately, you're too important for the plot to be killed just yet, we're barely getting started! However, if you'd like a pointless fight..."

As the entity possessed girl placed her hand out to the side, a quick shot of gold light hit one of the frog robots, which immediately seemed to power it down-- as the gold faded from Valerie's eyes.
