Clarity's dorm, a sanctuary amidst the tumult of Hellschool, exuded a serene tranquility. The room, adorned in gentle pink, red, and white hues, was bathed in the soft glow of delicate lanterns, starkly contrasting with the perpetual twilight outside. Dreamcatchers, aglow with the remnants of dreams, dangled from the ceiling. Her bed, a haven of comfort, was crafted from dark wood and adorned with satin sheets and plush pillows, offering a soothing refuge from the day's tribulations.

Standing before her intricate mirror, Clarity brushed her shimmering pink hair under the gentle light. Her resolute golden eyes scanned her reflection, radiating a steadfast determination tinged with a hint of nervous anticipation.

She knew today would present its challenges, and she was determined to face them head-on. She adorned herself in her favorite outfit: a sleek, dark dress that beautifully offset her pastel hair and a set of enchanted jewelry that amplified her dream-manipulating powers.

She took a deep breath, centering herself on the day ahead. The whispers of Hellsa's lies and the mounting tension among the students lingered in her mind, but she pushed them aside. She had true friends who would stand by her, so she assured herself for the moment. With a final glance in the mirror, she turned to gather her books and magical supplies, placing them carefully into her bag.

As Clarity approached the door, a moment of hesitation washed over her as she prepared herself for the unknown that lay beyond. When she opened the door, she was greeted by Pete's vibrant presence. His feathers, ablaze with light, illuminated the dim hallway. He leaned casually against the doorframe, his white blazer immaculate, his expression a blend of amusement and unwavering determination, a reassuring sight for Clarity.

"Good morning, Clarity," Pete said with a playful smile, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Are you ready to face the day?"

Clarity couldn't help but smile back, feeling a surge of confidence from his presence. "Good morning, Pete. I suppose there's no turning back now."

"Exactly," Pete replied, offering his arm. "Let's show this hellhole what we're made of."

With a nod, Clarity took his arm, and together, they walked through the hallways of her dormitory, ready to tackle whatever challenges the day had in store for them.

On their way, Pete had an idea in mind: "Let's go to the caf. I'll show you who's who." In no time, they made it to the hall where brunch was being served. "Feeding time at the zoo..." The noise of chatters around was enough to be the background ambiance as she spied four distinctive cliques in the room, each in their respective circles.

"Ok, here's the deal..." Pete started before pointing at one of the groups huddled together over a game of sorts; whatever it was, they appeared to be intensely focused on a table covered with various colorful figurines and an array of oddly shaped dice. The individuals around the table were gesturing enthusiastically, their eyes darting between the table and each other with an air of excitement.

The group seemed to be engaged in some sort of elaborate storytelling, occasionally erupting into cheers or groans as if their fates were being decided by the roll of the dice. It was difficult to discern the exact nature of their activity. Still, Clarity assumed it involved a combination of imagination, strategy, and a shared narrative, which is interesting considering her affinity with dreams.

"Of course, they're complete social outcasts," Pete remarked, earning a look from Clarity, clearly a bit upset at his bluntness.

"They look pretty harmless to me."

"They're sneaky bastards. Their turf is in your precious library."

Clarity thought back to her time there; it was very peaceful, and the facility was well-kept and organized compared to the rest of the school. She held her tongue for Pete's commentary but continued to listen, as this was the real guide she needed since last week when she realized she hadn't stopped to acknowledge the cliques fully.
