After the Vytal doubles matches Ozpin opted Amber to bait them out but will be accompanied by Jaune for her safety while the others will be really nearby to assist in the capture

He puts his hand on her shoulder for reassurance

Jaune felt something in the air as he hears a cocking of a gun

They both rolled out of the way of a high kick from Mercury

He then felt his vision being distorted as he corrects himself using the force and closing his eyes

As he swung his arm Force Pushing Emerald to a wall
Then Ironwood and Glynda leapt to action and subdued the most troublesome of Cinder's troop of clowns
Mercury was then being assaulted by none other then Qrow as he yells to his last teammate
Mercury: Neo help out will you!!!!!
Jaune then looks around and sees Neo a top some stands looking at them
Jaune: I suggest you rethink your life choices little one.
She looks to him puzzled but realized what he meant she looks to Mercury and waves bye bye and then salutes the Force Knight and shatters to glass
Ironwood: you let her get away?
Jaune: we have bigger fish to fry and besides she's a small fry, let's not waste time chasing after sardines and go for the whale.
Ironwood: understood, bring these criminals in.
Then the soldiers bound and gagged both of them
Glynda: it's a good thing we didn't run in with some of the Queen's more competent assassins.
Jaune: oh? So these kids are....
