Chapter 6: The plan

I headed back to my room and took a cold shower, did my hair, wore my clothes and sprayed my signature cologne. Presentation is the first step.

In all honesty, at first I thought she was going to be one of those annoying spoiled princesses with all the bullshit characters and unnecessary tantrums but she doesn't seem like that at all. As far as I've seen her or be with her, she's nice. Not to mention those maneater looks.

Feeling confident, I walked out of my room and headed to the dining hall hoping I'd get to know the princess better there.

Erica Yuvina:
After Harriet finally decided to move her lazy ass, she showered and we did our quick morning makeup together. Not exactly full makeup, just skincare, eyeliner and vasline. I tied my hair into a high ponytail and helped Harriet in braiding her hair after.

For some reason, even after getting to know that I'm getting married off to a COMPLETE stranger, I felt fresh today. Like something good might happen today.

Before we walked out of my room I forgot the most important thing. My perfume. I swear, I can't go anywhere without it.

We were now both on the dining table with Harriet sitting to my left and my parents sitting in opposite directions at the far ends of the table.

"Ah! Rupert and Melody!Good morning to you. I apologize for my, and my son's unpunctuality." Said an old woman who had blond hair with streaks of silver. I think I've seen her somewhere but can't quite remember when or where. And also son? Could that mean......

"My apologies your Majesty, your Highness. A little late."

I knew that accent... And that husky voice.

Liam entered the hall strutting towards... Me?!He sat right next to me on my right with his mother sitting in the opposite side of him.

Seriously.. Out of all the sixteen chairs, his mom decided to sit right next to the one which was opposite to me?. Oh well... What's done is done I guess.

We were eating but then Liam's mother broke the silence, "Ah. Dear, maybe you should cut down on some food or else you won't fit your wedding dress." She laughed.

Was that supposed to be a joke? Is my dress made for a 12 year old? I'm literally about to be underweight for my height. I weight 59 kg right now and if I go below 55, I'll be only bones.

My parents laughed but Harriet and Liam didn't find it funny either. "The audacity of her to say this with so much confidence." Harriet whispered to me. "I know right. Like be worried about your wrinkling droopy tiddies than about my weight." I said.

It was all fun and games until I saw Liam staring at me. Shit. I think he heard that. But he looks away after. Breakfast continued silently from there.

After food, I decided on telling my friends about the plan. I texted the location to meet at our group chat when Harriet was showering. We were gonna be discussing this in a very closed area. The library.

Soon, it was time. But just as I was walking in the hallway, someone pulled me aside behind one of the gold pillars. The person pinned me to the wall but suddenly stepped back. Liam.

"Princess, I'm sorry that I had t-" I think he was trying to say something but he was saying it so fast and I didn't know he was gonna say something so I accidentally cut his words and said "Oh my gosh, do you like me?" Oops.

He gave me a "h u h,." Look while I just stood there. "Never mind." I said. He continued, "... Anyway, I'm sorry I had to act this out like I was kidnapping you. I just wanted to pull you aside for a while.. Get to know you.. You know? And I found you here so I just took the chance. I'm asking formally now, would you like to take a walk in the gardens with me for a while, princess?"

"Look.. I would love to, but I'm a bit busy right now. I have to get somewhere." "May I ask what business you have?" "Well.. It's something girly. A girl thing? We can talk tomorrow morning though." "Why not tonight?"  "... My friends and I have a sleep over s-" "Where?"

... Ok. "In my room.. " I replied. "Great! Well I'll join then." "No, it's onl-"  "Tonight 7pm it is! Thank you for your time princess. I have to get going now." He said with a stupid grin on his face as he walked away feeling proud like he did something.

"Wait no! I-" I spoke up but gave up. "Ugh" I muttered under my breath. The last time we talked, he told me to shut up and now he's here wanting to hear me talk. Iconic. Is he gay Or something? I'm sure I clearly said girly things but ok. I had more important things to focus on now.

He is attractive but annoying. As long as I know him, he's kinda annoying. Can't he take the hint? I don't want to do anything with him. Maybe he's used to getting whatever he wants in his kingdom as he is a prince. I won't be surprised if he ends up being a dickhead.

I don't know why but I kinda wanna talk to him too even though a big part of me doesn't. I wanted to say ok but the words that escaped were making excuses to stay far away from him. I guess I'll just make time for him tonight. I'll have to know my "fiance" Too.

Everyone was in the library now-- Harriet, Jaxon, Max, Bliss and Zach.

"Oh wow! Look who's finally here after being late for 493 hours!" Bliss said sarcastically faking an exciting tone.

"Girl shut up." I said with a smile, running up to her and giving her a hug. "I missed you soooo much dude." She told me as I said the same.

"Okok guys. Let's get to the point." Said Zach. "Oh, ye right." I replied. After looking around and making sure there's no one in the library, we all headed to a small secret room behind a big shelf which was in the most farthest point in the library.

Me, Harriet and Bliss found this place when we were very young and I'm sure no one will come around here as literally no one comes here.

We closed the shelf and went down a spiral staircase until we reached a dimly lit room with a big table in the centre along with 6 chairs and 3 big lit candles in the center of the table. This secret room was filled with antique books and yellow dusty papers. It gave me a real princess vibe. Everything down here was ancient.

As we settled, I was stood up and put out the piece of paper where I drew and wrote the exits of the palace, the secret tunnels, the guards shifting hours, where I was guarded, some pictures of most wanted criminals, information about them and other stuffs needed for the plan. They all looked at me puzzled but they'd know.

"So guys, the reason I brought all of you here to gather with me is because I have something important to say. Something very important that I had to bring you here." Said I. Keeping a small break, I continued,

"I have taken the utmost decision, to rebel against my parents. It's time we take a step to actually rule this kingdom as how it should be. It's time for a rebellion. It's time for a revolution. In the morning we do our duties as citizens of Helim, at night.. We go soul hunting."

Ps: Guys I just realised it looks like I left Bliss out and it looks like there's a duo in the trio cause I didn't add her character in the MC intro but I added Harriet. Just wanted to let Y'all know that Bliss was a last minute character that wasn't originally planned n I just decided to add- she won't be left out after this chapter 🙏
