Chapter 8: First Target

After Jaxon told us his story about him and his girlfriend, I couldn't help but feel weird energy coming off of her. When he talked about his girlfriend and what they do, it sounded genuine and pure love when it came to Jaxon but when it came to her.... She gave off manipulative and serpent energy not. I don't know if I'm being stupid or possessive. Oh well. Who am I to judge.

The talking session went on and on until we ran out of subjects to talk about. Bliss then suddenly jolted and called out to me, "Oh! Also, Erica. I'm really really sorry that I couldn't make it to your birthday... I-I wasn't really gonna talk about this but since you told us about you rebellion, I think I have our first target."

My mind felt relief after she mentioned it. I didn't want to bring it up, especially not here, not now because honestly, I'm scared of confronting, being in a position where I had to be strict or serious in a sense, putting someone in a position of a bad person. Especially if it was someone who's nice to me Or a good friend. That was my weak point.

"Hey. I know you wouldn't miss my birthday and you've never missed a single one. But even if you did, I know it's something really urgent and important. Not that I'm not important but you know. Anywho, go on." I consoled her.

"Well.. The reason I couldn't make it was because my younger brother got raped.... It was so severe and he got badly injured, he was bought to the ICU as he was bleeding out so much and his whole intestines were pulled out.... He had no one but me. This happened a week ago.. That's why I couldn't even attend the final exams and I was devastated. And im sorry that I couldn't return or calls and all I jus-"

I cut off her words as she was on the verge of breaking down. "No no no no no. Bliss, do NOT apologize for nothing you did wrong. And please, don't feel sorry. I completely understand. If I were you I would do worse things but you actually held it together in worse moments.

It's totally fine and I'm proud of you for holding it and being strong and always bouncing back up." I gave her a hug so did everyone. All of them had disgusted expressions on their faces. Even though they looked like illegal extraterrestrials, I couldn't blame them because I for sure was making the same face.

"Who the fuck would do such things to a.. Literal TEN year old child?!" Zach exclaimed, pure hatred in his words. "That's- that's what I've been trying to figure out. I really need your help. All of yours. Can we find out that...."man" and brutally murdered them?" Bliss asked, tears streaming down her face.

"Oh Bliss...we will..we will..." Said Harriet holding her hand. Everyone else agreed. "Do you know any information about the rapist though?" Max asked and Bliss nodded. "Yes. My brother wasn't really sure you know.. He couldn't remember me too but he gave me a description. I think I have his picture. Wait, I'll show you." With shaking hands, she scrambled through her bag, took out her phone and showed us.

"He only told me the man had medium brown, slicked back hair and tanned skin with wrinkles on his face. I'm thinking that he's the age of 40-50. I did some research on some gangs and criminal organizations and mafias. I hacked into his school cctv and saw him getting pulled into a white van on his way home. Zooming in the clip, I saw a logo of the Helim Hell in the van. So I researched on that gang and found a man who matched the description my brother gave."

We came in closer to the image she showed us. And the first thing I saw was his notorious forehead and receding hairline. Imagine having the audacity to do such disgusting act while looking like that.

"His hairline is reaching the heavens" Max commented. "His forhead's shining brighter than then king's teeth." Harriet added. I couldn't help but let out a slight laugh. "Hmm... So you found out anything more?" Zach asked. "No. But I'm pretty sure it's him. I kind of saw his face in the cctv."

"Ok so here's what we will do. Zach and Bliss, both of you try stalking him closely and find out where he lives, his main base, his work hours and other things related to that. Jax and Max will be training, and if the guards aren't there to deliver backup, you'll manage it, but if the guards can be there for us, you will be on the lookout around the

neighborhood and and if some people are coming towards his house, try your best to make them turn to the opposite direction by causing a distraction or something and if you fail to do so, warn us. And inform Zach and Bliss too. Meanwhile, Harriet and I will be doing the job."  

"Okay, NOW I'm not scared to leave my future children with you if I die soon." Said Max. "Um. Thank you I guess?" I literally give up on him. "But everyone, to execute our plan successfully, we need to train and do drills. It'll take time but it'll be worth it. Let us at least give three months doing physical training before we plan ahead. Meet me exactly this coming week at the training grounds at 5am"

After I said the final sentence, we all decided on visiting Bliss's brother. I was about to inform my parents that I'm going out but decided not so. They wouldn't care anyways and if I was with my personal guards and go with a disguise, I'm pretty much alright.

We made our way into one of my Royal cars with the two guards in front driving Jax, Max, And Zach in the middle part and Harriet, me and Bliss sitting at the back.

I don't like talking or conversing while I'm on a journey or travelling. I usually just listen to music and look out the window but my friends were here so i made a exception. I always do.

"Also!" Harriet hollered, surprising everyone. "Harriet! You almost killed us all! What if I had a seizure because of your sudden energy?!" Max scolded Harriet to which she replied, "Very dramatic much hm? Why don't you join us girls here in the back?" Max uttered something back in response while rolling his eyes but it wasn't audible.

"Anyway as I was saying, before I got rudely interrupted, what will you about the prince and your marriage? And what if he finds out about your side hustle?" Crap. I completely forgot that he had forced me to talk to me at 7.

"Oh right. The prince. I completely forgot about him." I said earning a side eye from Jaxon as he spoke, "How do you even forget about the person you're going to marry and not only that but when you are doing something serious and dangerous which might end up killing you?"

"You've got a point. Could've reminded me earlier." I joked. "You're impossible" Jaxon scoffed. "I actually wanted to bring him up but then the other day you looked like a horse kicked you so... I kept quiet." Uttered Max.

"Oh well.. I'll try my best to hide this from him and as much as I hate this idea, I have to go with this after until I'm throned queen and I'll fight for my rights I guess.. But if he came to know about this and is supportive, I hit the jackpot." I said.

"On top of that, he's not bad but I heard he's a bit cocky and does his best to get what he wants. On the average side, both of you match a little. In a sense that he is a mixture of seriousness and unseriousness at the same time." Bliss added.

".. Good for me I guess? I just hope he isn't a bad person. That'll atleast make up for me not marrying the love of my life." I said. "Okay. All of you, get down. We're here." The guards pulled up in the parking lot of Joy Flower children's hospital. Time to meet him.
