Chapter 15: Unexpected, wanted surprise

After my long bath, I dried my hair, put sunscreen, did a natural make-up look and dressed up.

I'm currently waiting for Harriet to finish dressing, who is taking her sweet time. "Harriet!! How long will you take?! We have to be there soon!" She stepped out of the bathroom.

"Calm down your highness, I'm done." "Great. Let's go. Liam's coming with us by the way."   "Oh my gosh! Is this a date? Am I Interfering something?" Harriet smirked.

"Harriet shut it. You know we're just going over to Bliss's house to help Owen and her out."   "Whatever you say miss." "You're starting to sound like Liam you know." I said as I locked the door of my chambers and walked down to the other side of the palace to Liam's, Harriet tagging along with me.

With three knocks on his door, I called out, "Oh dear fiance!! Are you ready yet?!" There was no reply for 10 seconds. I knocked again. "Hey Liam, are you there?" There was silence on the other side.

I was getting annoyed but then Harriet said, "Is he dead?" She meant it as a joke but something in me felt discomfort when I heard those words. What if he's actually dead?... Oh gosh. "Princess, do you want us to break down the door?"

The guards asked. "That won't be necessary. He's still our guest and my fiance." I said. Continuing, "Liam!! If you don't open this door right NOW, I will not hesitate to barge in and I do not care if you're nak-" My words were cut short when the door suddenly opened revealing Liam behind.

"If I'm what, princess?" He said with a grin. I scanned his body from head to toe. He wore a button up T-shirt with casual pants and sneakers with a watch and gold chain hanging down his neck.

That's when I got a smell of his Cologne. I have never seen him wore such... Teen clothes. He's so handsome.

"Nothing. Let's just go. We're running late because of you wasting 24 seconds." "Mhm.. Whatever you say darling." I could feel his smirk even though I was walking in front of him.

Harriet was just pursing her lips and trying not to smile. I can imagine the things she would say later. We were in the car now. My two bodyguards were in the front seat while Liam, me, and Harriet sat in the back.

"So where exactly are we going princess?"   "Adult-nappingyou."   "Oh. Well, I'm not going to be the one stuck with you but you're going to be the one stuck with me." What is that supposed to mean.... Why am I heating up? I block off my thoughts before the dirty scenarios kick in.

"Uh.. We're going to my girl-friend's place to help her and her brother with some things and just hanging out." I cleared my throat and stated.

"So I'm marrying a woman who is gay and has a girlfriend." Said Liam. "What- no- oh my gosh Liam I'm not gay." That man just laughed. I just scoffed. This man never stops with his teasing. I hate sitting in the middle.

"I could've just drove, you know. You didn't need to call those two men." Liam said. "Well dear, I need some people to protect me Or assist me if something happens to me." I said with a fake sweet smile.

"I know. But you have me. I'm tall and I can fight." I think he was serious about the words he said because the way he said it.. Made my heart shiver a bit.

I felt a squeeze that Harriet gave me on my arm. She was looking outside the window with her palms covering her mouth, trying to hide a smile. This girl.

I have no idea why I felt something in my pit when he said that. Brushing the feeling away, I replied,"Says the one who easily gets distracted by a 'small' woman."

"You're the only woman that can distract me and I'll allow myself to get distracted." He muttered under his breath.

I think I wasn't supposed to hear that but I definitely heard it. Or maybe he wanted me to hear it but not make it obvious?

"What was that Liam?"   "What? Oh. It's nothing really." Harriet was ABOUT to burst. She looked so excited. She's so adorable.

We reached Bliss's apartment and outside standing was Zach, Max and Jax. Zach was just casually checking on his phone as usual while Max and Jax were busy arguing like always.

We stepped out of the car and waited for the bodyguards to park the car. I was really excited today for some reason. Maybe it's because Liam is with me? Maybe because I'm showing the world my husba- FUTURE husband.

Gosh what's happening to me. Why am I so focused on him. I think it's a crush.

"Hey, hey Harriet. Am I the one who's right, or Max? Can you see the cloud up there?" Jaxon pointed towards the sky at a particular cloud.

"Doesn't that cloud look like a pineapple? Max here said it looks likes a guitar. He needs to get his eye checked up." Harriet kept quiet for a few seconds then replied,

"Child... What do you mean? Are you people blind? It's a literal submarine." These people here, are my best friends.
"Oh shut it Harriet. It's a rocket." Zach finally spoke up to which EVERYONE disagreed to. Poor Zach.

"Alright everyone. Cut it out. I came here with someone today." I said, grabbing everyone's attention. They all turned to me, then to Liam.

"As you all know, this is Prince Liam, Liam these are my friends, Zach, Max, Jax and.. You know Harriet. You'll meet Bliss too, upstairs. We're going to be hanging out in her apartment after helping her.. And her brother out with some things." I helped Liam in introducing himself.

"I'm Liam, Prince of Jesira." They all stared at him like a foreign creature. Not that he isn't. Soon after, the three boys bowed down to Liam.

"It's an honour to be in your presence your Majesty." They said. They might be dumb and argue over stupid subjects but when it came to these things, they take it very seriously and are mature and respectful.

"It's good to meet you all." Liam responded as they stood up straight. Just then, my personal bodyguards came and two SUV cars filled with guards in disguises surrounded the building, to make sure nothing bad will happen to all of us.

We all went upstairs into Bliss's apartment. Knocking on her door, she opened up. As we hugged and I introduced her to Liam, we went inside her house.

Owen was in his room. I didn't tell Liam about his case Or anything because it's not my story to tell but Owen's. I just told him that he got hurt in an accident.

I didn't introduce Liam to Owen quite yet as I wanted Owen to approach first. So we cleaned some things and helped in arranging Owen's bed.

After the cleaning, the guys were in charge of the cooking while we girls, were tending to Owen.

I felt an urge to use the restroom. Entering it, there was Liam. Completely. Shirtless.

Ps: Exam's over but I got school tmr again😪.
