Minghao's POV:
I had fun talking with Jun. Now I'm heading back home. It's 11 pm already and I left at like 5 pm. I stayed out for like 6 hours. I'm scared that they would have noticed that I was gone. I quickly went back into my room the way I got out.

I was relieved when I didn't saw anyone. I think everyone already went to sleep. I quickly changed into my pajamas and quickly got to bed. I fell asleep quickly since I was tired.

* Sunday morning (rain is falling) *
I woke up at 5 am to my step parents shouting and throwing things at each other. It's a regular thing that they fight, but this time is worse than the previous fights. I went out my room and saw them fighting in the living room. Vases and plates smashed near them. After a few minutes step dad left the house. My step mom still crying. I decided to make her some tea. Even though she's been nothing but an evil witch to me, she's still my step mom. After I made the tea I went to her and give her the tea. What she did next surprised me.
She hugged me. My step mom hugged me. I hugged her back of course.
" I'm sorry" she apologized.
"Huh? " I'm confused. Why was she apologizing?
" I'm sorry for being mean to you... I didn't want to do it, but I had to" she said. Ok now I'm really confused.
" I'll explain everything. So your mom is my childhood best friend.. " I was shocked but I didn't say anything and listened to her. " When she started dating your dad our friendship started to go downhill. He was our enemy. He was the school bad boy. The heartthrob. So when she started dating him, I knew something was wrong. I tried talking to your mom, saying that this is impossible. How would someone that didn't even knew you existed suddenly want to date you. But she got mad at me cause she thought I also liked him and was trying to take him from her. But I wasn't. After that she didn't talk to me, and even ignored me. And in her last year of high school, she was pregnant with you. She was just 19 when she was pregnant so she was scared. Your dad was having an affair with someone while she was struggling with a baby. When your dad found out, he saw that he could finally left her. So he did. He left her. And then your mom contacted me saying that I was right. She was an idiot for believing someone like him."
She took a deep breath before continuing.
"After she contacted me our relationship was fixed. I helped her through her pregnancy. And when you were born we were in our first year in uni. So she dropped out. But I had to move to back to China for my second year. So I didn't get to see her anymore but we still kept in contact. And that was when I met Xu Lifeng, the love of my life. He used to be an amazing person back in uni. We started dating in third year. But it all changed when he went to Korea for business. He started ignoring me and was distant towards me. I knew he was cheating on me but I didn't say anything cause I wanted to hear it from him. I came to Korea and saw him with your mom and you. You all looked so happy and later I found out they got married. I was heartbroken and betrayed. I hated him and your mom. But I still loved you. Lifeng was also the reason your mom died. He poisoned her. And when I confronted him, he said that he was only married to her because she was rich. And said that he will come back to me. But I refused. I didn't want that. Then he threatened to tell your mom that the girl your dad cheated on your mom was me. He threatened me hao. But I didn't know your dad was still with your mom. He told me he broke up with her and said that I was the one he loved. I believed him. Now I regret it. Lifeng found out about that because he met your dad. Your mom was already seriously ill and I didn't want to make it worse so I did whatever he said. I also know what be did to you when you can out. And I was disgusted. He made me and your siblings hate you. We love you hao. We really do. It was about time that you know the truth. I'm sorry... "
When she finished I was shocked and had tears in my eyes. Lifeng is an asshole. I hugged her saying I forgive her and also called my siblings and pulled them in for a family hug. I decided to get revenge on him. I need to get evidence first before. After that we made a plan to make him pay.

I went to my normal place. I was still processing all the information that I didn't even notice jun sat down next to me.
"What got you thinking so deeply again? "
I sighed and told him everything.
"I'll help you. "
"Huh? "
" I'll help you hao, you've been through so much. So I'll help you"
I was happy from his words.
" Uhmm... It may be too soon to say this since we just met yesterday but I like you hao. You opened up to me, something that no one has done to me before. I shut him up by kissing him. He was shocked at first but he kissed back. It was a passionate kiss full of love. I broke the kiss cause we were out of breath.
" I like you too jun. I liked you since yesterday. It may seem cliche but it's true. It was like live at first sight. " I said. He smiled wireless then engulfed me in a hug.

" Why are you thanking me? I'm supposed to be thanking you. "
" Thank you for liking me back"
I smiled at him as we stayed like that for hours.

It's been about a week since I've had found out the truth. I've had also got a good amount of evidence against Lifeng. And we will turn him into the police today.

We finished giving the evidence to the police and now we're heading back to our house now. Jun and his family is with us. Our families know we're together and they support us. We were glad about having such supportive families. When we knocked on the door. Lifeng came and opens it but he was immediately arrested. " What's going on? What is this? "
" You're under arrest Mr. Xu"
He was shouting and cursing at us. We were relieved and happy that it is all finished. Jun then took my hand and lead me to our place. The place we met and the place he confessed, the lake.
"How are you feeling hao? "
"Overwhelmed but I'm glad he's finally gone tho"
"Come on"
He said as he hugged me.
"It'll all be ok. I will be with you. To the end of time. I'll stay with you. I promise. I love you hao. "
" I love you too Jun. Thank you for everything "
We kissed as the fireflies surround us. Making it a magical moment I will never forget.
