SONG:- KUDMAYI( FILM VERSION):- SHAHID MALLYA
The sun rose gently over the horizon, casting a golden glow across the bustling city. Today was the day Idika and Advay had been eagerly anticipating. Their wedding day had finally arrived, and with it, an air of excitement and anticipation enveloped both families.
Idika's cousins and friends eagerly awaited at the entrance for the arrival of the baraat. Mahira held the aarti thaal ready to welcome Advay. The sound of the band grew nearer, indicating Advay's approaching baraat. He was seated on a female horse, accompanied by his family, who danced and reveled in every moment of the procession.
He dismounted from the horse as they proceeded towards the entrance, where everyone stood on the opposite side of the ribbon, eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Mahira performed the aarti and applied the tilak on Advay's forehead. "If you want to enter, you'll have to pay the tax," Reyhana joked, while the others nodded in agreement. Advay chuckled and gestured to Aditya, indicating that he should hand over the money. "How much is the tax?" he asked.
"Well, for you, we're offering a special discount since you agreed to the terms of the contract we presented earlier. So, how about 70,000?" Kaira proposed with a grin. "Hayye Baap Re, tum toh mere bhai ko loot rahe ho, nahi bhai itne nahi dene, kam karo yaar"" Aditya exclaimed.
"Tum chup raho, paisa jiju de rahe hai" Sarah interjected, causing Aditya to quickly fall silent. "Sahi toh keh rha hai Aditya, tumne loot machai hui hai, kam kro thoda" Reyaansh chimed in. "Alright then, how about 50,000?" Mahira suggested, adjusting the offer.
"Thoda au-"Rohan began, but Advay interrupted him by silently handing over 35,000 to them. "Itne mein kaam chala lo " he said. Everyone collectively agreed, and Mahira handed him the scissors. As Advay cut the ribbon, everyone else erupted into applause.
"Arre ruko, kahan ja rahe ho? Abhi ek rasam aur hai," Mahira said, picking up a candy covered with salt. "Nahi Advay, ispe pakka mirchi lagi hogi," Reyaansh warned. "Bhai, aap chup karo," Rehyana said, causing Reyaansh to grumble under his breath.
Advay laughed and opened his mouth, tasting the extremely salty candy mixed with caramel. "Itna bhi bura nahi hai," he said, trying to keep a straight face. "Haan, tabhi ye shakal bani hui hai," Rohan retorted, and everyone burst into laughter as they finally entered the wedding venue.
Meanwhile, Idika sat in one of the rooms at the venue, all decked up in her stunning lehenga, her makeup flawless, and adorned with heavy jewelry. She fidgeted slightly, the weight of the jewelry unfamiliar yet comforting, as she waited to be called to the mandap.
