It's been a week since Advay and Idika adopted Maple. His injury is healing nicely, and he's now comfortable with all the family members. "Ladoo, Maple, come here, bache, it's time to eat," Idika called out, holding Maple's food. He ran and jumped on her, his tail wagging furiously. She chuckled and patted his head, "Don't jump, baby, you're still not fully healed," she said gently, placing the container on the floor.
Maple eagerly began eating, his enthusiasm bringing a smile to Idika's face. Advay walked into the room, watching the scene unfold. "He seems to be getting better every day," he remarked, leaning against the doorframe.
Idika looked up and nodded, her eyes shining with affection. "Yes, he does. He's such a good boy." Advay smiled, joining her on the floor to watch Maple eat. "I'm glad we brought him home," he said, reaching out to scratch Maple behind the ears. Idika leaned her head on Advay's shoulder, content. "Me too. He's already a part of our family."
"By the way, Reyaansh called," Advay said, gently caressing my hands in his. "He's throwing a party for us since we just got married. I told him it wasn't necessary, but he wouldn't take no for an answer. So, get ready by 6 PM; everyone is coming."
I nodded but suddenly sat upright. "Oh shoot, then I have to buy a new dress!" I exclaimed, standing up in a hurry. "Come on, go get ready; we need to leave," I said, rushing to change my clothes.
Advay sat there, momentarily dumfounded, when Maple licked his face, bringing him back to the present. He chuckled and stood up, readying himself for the shopping spree.
As I rummaged through my wardrobe, I heard Advay's footsteps approaching. "Are you sure you need a new dress?" he asked, leaning against the doorframe, amusement dancing in his eyes.
"Absolutely," I said, glancing over my shoulder. "This is our first party as a married couple. I need to look my best."
He smiled, shaking his head. "Alright, let's go find you the perfect dress."

"How about this one?" Advay asked, picking out a dress from the hanger. Idika took the dress and smiled. "Okay, I'll try this," she said, disappearing into the fitting room.
Moments later, she emerged wearing the dress. Advay's eyes widened as he saw her. The dress fit perfectly, hugging her curves in all the right places, a hint of cleavage visible, and the way it showcased her brown thighs added an extra touch of allure. The admiration in his eyes was evident, making her feel even more confident.
"You look... divine," he said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. She smiled, feeling a warm rush of happiness. Idika blushed, a soft crimson hue spreading across her cheeks. "Thank you. I think this one is perfect," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Advay cleared his throat, eyes still fixed on her. He moved towards the cashier to pay for the dress, but Idika quickly stopped him. "Let me pay, Advay," she insisted, pulling out her debit card.
