"This is so annoying," Advay groaned, his frustration evident. Idika, however, simply grinned as she cupped his face. "You look so pretty," she teased, carefully applying lipstick to his lips.

Advay huffed, glaring at her through narrowed eyes. "I swear, Idika, if you don't stop—"

She cut him off with an exaggerated gasp. "Oh my God, you're pouting! That makes you look even cuter!" His scowl deepened as she held back a giggle.

"I swear, I'm gonna take revenge on you," Advay muttered, staring at his reflection in the hand mirror. His face, now adorned with makeup, was flawless, and he couldn't help but admire the work Idika had done. Her hands truly worked magic when it came to makeup.

He mentally groaned, fully aware that he looked way better with makeup than he ever did without it. The smooth finish, the sharp contours—he couldn't deny it. But he wasn't going to let her know he was impressed.

Instead of getting frustrated as he had hoped, Idika burst out laughing, clutching her stomach. "You look too good, Advay! I think I might have a serious competition on my hands."

Advay rolled his eyes, trying to act annoyed, but the corners of his lips betrayed him, tugging into a small smile. He burst out in giggles, the sound filling the room. Idika, with a playful glint in her eye, slid onto his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Well, I must say, you did a fabulous job. I look like one of your Korean idols," Advay teased, his voice dripping with mock seriousness.

Idika chuckled, shaking her head softly. "You look way better than anyone, love," she replied, her voice warm as she rested her head against his chest.

Even after six years of marriage, there was something about these moments, so simple, so full of affection, that still made their hearts feel full.

They fought, they yelled, they sometimes stayed angry with each other for a little longer than they should. But in the end, it was always the same. It was each other they wanted, always and forever.

Their peaceful moment was suddenly interrupted when the door creaked open, and two small figures entered the room.

"Mumma, papa! Ladoo ate my baana (banana)!" their daughter's voice rang out, her tiny finger pointing straight at the furry culprit standing beside her, tail wagging excitedly.

Idika laughed softly, lifting herself from Advay. "Aww, my baby. Come here," she cooed, reaching out to their daughter.

The little one tried to climb onto the bed but failed, her tiny legs not quite reaching. With a chuckle, Advay leaned forward, scooping her up effortlessly. He blew raspberries on her soft belly, causing her to burst into uncontrollable giggles.
