I woke up to the sensation of water droplets splashing on my face. Squinting against the light, I managed to open my eyes. There stood my wife, drying her wet hair with a towel, all decked up in a red saree.

"Good morning," I murmured, tossing aside the blanket as I prepared to freshen up. She turned at the sound of my voice, her lips curving into a radiant smile. "Good morning, sleepyhead," she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
I couldn't resist the pull towards her. I walked over and wrapped my arms around her, burying my face in the crook of her neck. The scent of chocolate wafted from her skin, intoxicating and comforting. Her red saree shimmered in the morning light, the fabric soft against my cheek. She hugged me back, her hands gently caressing my back in soothing circles.
The warmth of her embrace, the gentle rhythm of her breathing, and the subtle scent of chocolate made me feel as if I were in heaven. Every time I'm in her arms, my heart beats faster, my insides are giddy, and I absolutely love this feeling.
I pulled away from the hug. "Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked. She chuckled, ruffling my hair. "Acha Ji, kal tak toh koi bhi nahi uthata tha," she teased, then went to put on her necklace, adding an extra touch to her already enchanting appearance.
"Ab aap aa gyi ho, toh aap hi utha diya karo" I said, moving to assist her with the necklace. I took the piece of jewelry and gently fastened it around her neck, securing the clasp behind.
Her cheeks flushed at my comment. "Did you put on makeup?" I inquired. She shook her head. "Should I?" she asked. "No, I was just curious because you're glowing even more today," I said. She laughed softly and guided me towards the bathroom. "Go freshen up; I'll be doing my hair in the meantime." I nodded and headed into the bathroom, feeling a bit more awake.
