Sadly, no one answered from the other end. A pre-recorded message from Max is heard coming through the phone. "Hey, it's Max."
"Leave a message. Or don't." She chuckled. Redialing it again, Mike picks up the phone and places it to his ear. The line rings yet again. "Come on, Max. Come on." The dial tone continues to ring until an audible click is heard. "Hey, it's Max. Leave a mes-" The message repeats before Mike slams it back into the receiver.
Mike looked at Abby to make sure she wasn't away, but sadly, she heard the same message as him. Leaning against the wall, he lets out a sigh. What was he going to do? Max wasn't responding to his calls and he doubt anyone else was going to watch Abby for free. He had no other choice than to... bring her. Abby smiles, already knowing that she has won this battle and that he has to take her with him.
Driving back to Freddy's once again, Mike comes to a complete stop in front of the entrance. He turns towards Abby to lay down some ground rules before entering. "I will work, and you will sleep, and under no circumstances are you gonna come out of my office."
"Do you understand?" He continued, waiting for a response.
"I understand." Abby says, staring at the bright-coloured Freddy's sign, not paying attention to Mike in the slightest.
"This is not a vacation, okay?" Mike barked. "You're not here to have fun."
"Okay." She replied, grabbing her blanket, pillow and stuffed bear with her as they stepped outside of the car.
"Whoa, slow down, slow down, slow down." Immediately upon getting out, Abby begins to make a mad dash toward the entrance, before realizing that the gate was locked. "Abby?"
Upon entering inside, Mike noticed the mess he was told of earlier that day. Everything was all over the place, tables were crashed onto the floor, plushies and figurines were either broken or plastered all over the carpet and the arcade machines that would have sold thousands in this day and age were destroyed.
"Whoa. What happened?" Abby asked.
Moving his backpack towards the other end, Mike sticks out his hand for Abby to grab. "Give me your hand." He said as Abby grabs it as they make their way away from the clutter and into the office. "Watch out." Glass crunching beneath them.
"Do you want me to turn the light off?" Mike asks.
In response, Abby lets out a yawn and shakes her head, no. "Okay." He gently responds. Abby curls up into the tent and begins to snuggle up into her pillow. "Good night."
"It's like camping." She blurts out. Mike stops in his tracks, he remembered the last time he went camping... it didn't end as well as he expected. Abby closes her eyes, falling asleep in her flower blanket, leaving Mike alone to clean up the mess the intruders caused. As Mike looks at the cameras, he lets out a deep and heavy sigh, indicating how frustrating it's going to be to clean up this mess.
Opening the door to the supply closet, he begins to notice how weirdly smelly the place is. Shrugging it off, Mike turns on the light, exhibiting how damp it is. As he begins to look around, he notices a slob of blood smeared beneath the window of the door's frame. Thinking it might have been leftover red paint that was never scrubbed off, he left it alone to look for anything to help clean up with.
That's when he was met face-to-face with the same Balloon Boy figure that scared him a few nights before. Upon seeing this, Mike jumps from shock before realizing it's just the thing again. So, he turns it around, facing the opposite direction before grabbing a couple of mops and an empty bucket.
