"Abby."
Mike wakes up from his dream strapped to a chair. The mechanical whirring of saw blades making him fully immersed in the situation he's brought himself into. Then suddenly in front of him, he saw the mask with its endless rows of gears and saw blades that filled the area spinning, its red eyes staring back at him as the machine inched closer and closer towards his face.
He begins to panic, trying to break free from the hinges that were wrapped around his wrists. Looking around, he felt a loose bolt from the hinge that began to wiggle and turn apart. It was like someone from before wiggled it loose to begin with. To whoever it was, he sure was thankful that they did that for him.
Now all Mike needed to do was to loosen it more before the insides of that mask reached into his skull and with the limited time he wasted from dreaming, it was only a matter of time before it actually made it. So he wiggles with all his might, his straining voice becoming more prevalent as he continues to get it to come loose.
Finally, he gets it out, releasing the hinge wrapped around his right wrist. Not wasting a single second, he attempted to remove the bolt off the opposite side but it was welded in. Franticly feeling around, he finds a button beneath it which he presses, releasing his other wrist. Mike slides underneath the mask before it was able to shred his face into ribbons. Its saw blades continue to go through the metal, and sparks begin to fly, ripping through the metal of the chair before it comes to a stop right in front of him.
Mike continues to back away, watching as it stops before he hits the back of something that felt too heavy to be considered anything but human. But as he looks behind him, he is met with a horrifying sight. Right there in front of him was Max; the babysitter who was watching Abby while he was away. Her face had her open but lifeless eyes staring up at the ceiling. The rest of her body was stuffed into a dark purple suit with only her head sticking out.
In his hyperventilating state, he turns to the left, meeting face-to-face with Jeff, Max's older brother, who had a bloody gash across his face. He never really liked the guy because of his criminal record but, hey, his sister was doing this for free so maybe he wasn't so bad, too. Then in the corner of his eye, he saw an arm protruding out of a knockoff dog animatronic that didn't belong to either Max or Jeff and then he saw another guy he didn't recognize, his face was even worse than before, it was like something slashed and bit into his face.
Getting up, Mike runs or at least he tries to. Thanks to the children from earlier, his body was in no shape to run. But with no other choice, he proceeds to limp despite the pain that's overtaking him. Breaking past the door and into the open hallway, he starts to run, trying to make his way out of here as quickly as possible to get to his sister before they have a chance to do so.
The lights begin to flicker on and off like crazy, this wasn't anything new to him but it was still terrifying especially because of his sudden limping state. Proceeding to make his exit before any of the animatronics know of his lack of presence, he tries to open the door again and again but it was no use, it still wouldn't budge, not even an inch. Those kids... No, those monsters were keeping him inside, they didn't want him to leave.
"De dum dum dum, de dum dum dum. Dum dum dum diddly doo." Mike could hear the scatting of Foxy, the pirate was standing at the end of the hallway. Suddenly, the lights were flickering like mad, leaving only brief moments of light as Mike tried in vain to open the door.
"Ya dom dom dom, bom bom bom bom do de doo doo." Foxy began to inch closer and closer towards him. "NO!" Mike turned around, letting out a terrifying scream from the top of his lungs until finally for what felt like hours, that dang door opened before the fox could kill him but got a good slash on him before Mike closed the door, dropped onto the concrete with blood oozing out from his chest.
Crickets begin to chirp as a neighbour's dog begins to bark in the distance, the night getting later and darker while the lights on the driveway turned on. Abby is seen still in her room, playing with an Etch A Sketch.
Abby was still plenty upset about what her older brother did to her, but she could sort of understand why. He wasn't the best at taking care of her, but he tried... unlike some people. What took her out of her thought process was the knocking sound coming from outside her door. "Abby?" The voice of her aunt annoyed her, but she still remained tough above it all.
"You can't stay in there forever, you know." She proceeds to ignore her aunt's cries to get out of the room and join her for dinner, thinking she would rather get hit by a semi-truck than be around her. "Suit yourself." Jane said, shrugging before walking away from her niece's bedroom door.
Walking back into the living room, she grabs the TV remote and sits down on the recliner, feeling relieved that she finally got her way. Now all she needed to do was for Mike to sign the papers and Abby was all hers. Soon, the monthly money will flow into her hands.
Turning on the TV, she lands on a commercial for the Chia Pet, terracotta figures that grow hair-like chia sprouts once you water them. She then changed the channel to a talk show she enjoyed.
Finding the right show for her to enjoy, Jane reclined the chair to relax, completely unaware that an animatronic bear was now in the house, watching her every movement. Its mechanical blue eye stares at her, already well aware that the only way to get Abby to come with it is to eliminate anything that stood in its way.
A loud thud is heard coming from the living room, gaining the attention of Abby. Curious, she puts her magnetic drawing pad down on her bed and gets up to take a peek out of her room. Not hearing any sort of noise coming from her aunt, Abby walks into the hallway and is met with another one of her friends.
The animatronic in question stood at the end of the hallway. Its appearance is almost identical to the brown bear himself, Freddy, in every way. With only one glaring difference, its left eye was missing from its socket leaving only a glowing blue eye and its fur was... GOLDEN.
"Freddy?" Abby continues to stare at what she nicknamed Golden Freddy in amazement when suddenly, the blonde boy appears from right in front of it. Separating himself from the machine.
"Not Freddy." Said the blonde boy. He smiled at her naive personality before speaking once again. "They're all waiting for you. It's time to go play." Excited to hear that her friends want her back, Abby proceeds to head into her room to begin packing for the road ahead.
Putting on her backpack and walking down the hallway once again to meet the blonde kid who had entered her home, she noticed her aunt's legs lying down on the living room's carpet. Abby was going to ask the kid what was going on, but he beat her to the punch. "Silly Aunt Jane." He smirks, chuckling softly. "She fell asleep."
Not even a little bit unfazed, Abby turns towards the blonde kid and begins to ask the question on everyone's minds. "How do we get there?"
