Waiting outside the entrance of Mike's house was a taxi driver. He was a tall, African-American man, his hair was stuck up in an afro as his goatee matched his suddenly weird hairstyle for the time. He wore three layers of clothing that stuck out to anyone who walked by despite it being only springtime.

He was currently listening to the song 'I Wanna Be Down' by Brandy, lightly bobbing his head to the beat, not aware that an 8-foot-tall robot and a 10-year-old kid were stepping into the parkway unannounced. "I wanna be down." "With what you're going through."

He hears the sound of the door slamming behind him, he sticks his eyes towards the mirror, seeing a little girl smaller than him enter the car. "Where to, little lady?"

Instead of responding to the taxi driver's question, she waits for her 'friend' to open the door and step inside. Instantly, he feels the weight of whoever stepped inside, causing the car to lean heavily to the right. "What the...?" He announces, adjusting the rear view mirror to face whoever was behind him at the time.

Upon doing so, he's met face-to-face with a freaky sight. "Oh, my goodness!" He jumped in his seat, freaking out after seeing a robot appear right in front of him. The taxi driver turns around to see the thing move in real-time which was pretty unsettling to see. Abby giggles, getting a kick out of seeing another person scared by Golden Freddy.

"Not cool." He sighs, returning back to the road, preparing to get the car out of parking. "Why do I always get the weirdos?" Thinking this might just be a guy in a really cool, highly detailed costume of the characters he used to see back when he was a kid; the taxi driver let out a little smirk before driving to the spot they requested.

Meanwhile, in another location parked behind some police cars. Mike wakes up, groaning from the pain he let himself take due to those murderous machines. Sweat beads from his face as he tries to get used to it as quickly as possible, but as he turns to look around, he is confused about where he is at. Then sees the bandage that was encased around his arm and his chest. 'When did that get there?' He thought.

"Careful." Vanessa says, appearing from out of the shadows. Upon seeing her, Mike noticed she wasn't wearing her police uniform just like those other nights, instead opting for a brown sweatshirt. Vanessa stopped him from picking off anything that could damage the thing that was preventing him from bleeding out. Seeing her was quite a surprise for Mike, especially after the argument they had last night. But he would be lying if he said he wasn't glad to see her. "I managed to stop the bleeding, but you're probably gonna need stitches."

"Where are we?" He asks, obviously confused about where she took him to get proper medical attention. "Police supply outpost." She answers almost immediately, like she was ready for him to ask that question. It's likely she was, due to the fact that she likes to keep secrets from him at any point and time. "I found you, and, uh, you were... you were badly hurt."

While she was looking away, Mike tried to get out of the seat. Blood started to rush back as every ounce of pain began to feed upon it. After a few seconds, he was able to sit up straight, processing everything that was going on. "They tried to kill me, Vanessa."

"But I'm guessing you already knew that." He said, not forgetting what had happened the night before. Instead of giving him an excuse, she stands there, taking everything he has got for her. "Max." He continued, whether she would stop him or not, he had to. "Her brother."

"You knew about them, too, right?" Mike's voice rising a bit, his temper taking over for the first time in a while. Vanessa couldn't even look at him, she knew about what had happened to those... people. But she was too disappointed in herself to make up any sort of excuse for her actions. "It's complicated..."
