Ding dong. The shopping mall announced their entrance. Kim and Kat were over Valerie's house for a slumber party.. "Meghan- Chan!, are you coming over for tonight?" Valerie asked over the phone. "Sorry, I'm a bit busy tonight. I'm looking for a new plot for my family's bakery. I thought I told you that." She said in her raspy mature (boyish?) voice. "No. You never told me that. What kind of place are you looking for?" Valerie asked her. "Right now I'm headed to an abandoned asylum. Hopefully there's some potential here." They said. "An insane asylum? That's no place for a bakery!" Valerie said. "It's probably haunted and full of bacteria. It's way too big too. Where is it?" Valerie scolded her. "I think it's called Riverview Hospital. Don't worry about it. There's no AHHH!" Meghan screamed so loudly that Kat jumped. "Meghan- Chan? Are you okay?" Valerie asked her. Meghan's phone dropped and the line disconnected. "Meghan-chan?" Valerie called to her again. But the call was over. "I hope you girls don't mind me going on a quick trip but I'm going to Riverview to find Meghan." Valerie told the girls. "It's so late, Valerie. And if there's ghosts you shouldn't go, you're already hurt enough." Kim stood up in Valerie's way to prevent her from going. "But Meghan might be in trouble!" Valerie said, trying to push Kim back. "We'll go. She knows us and Kim's right, your arm is still broken and your head is still hurt. Being in a haunted place might leave you vulnerable to ghosts." Kat told her. "Yeah, we can go for you." Kim agreed. "But what if you get hurt?" Valerie asked. "We're strong. We won't get hurt and if we do we will call for help. No biggie." Kim said. Valerie frowned. "Fine. I trust you. But be careful."

The sisters pulled up to an abandoned asylum, Riverview abandoned asylum. A chilly breeze blew. A dark terrifying building lay in front of them. Kat gulped. "Now why would Meghan want to come here?" Kat asked. "And try to pay people to renovate. Who wouldn't even come here for money." Kim said. A loud scream came from inside. "Sounds like Meghan!" The girls ran inside the building and a flashlight blared in their faces. "Ah." Kim quickly covered her eyes. "Oh, girls!" The lights turned on and Meghan was standing on top of a table. A little brown king charles spaniel stood on its legs barking at her while a brown and white one sat by. A girl with orange hair laughed nearby. "Get those dogs away from me!" Meghan screamed. "But he's adorable. He just wantsa play." The ginger said. "Meghan, are you okay?" Kat asked. "Yeah, we heard you screaming!" Kim added. "Those things might have diseases!" Meghan said. "They're not bad. They're cute!" She said. "If you bring those strays close to me one more time I'll cut your hair, bake it in a cake, and shove it down your throat!" Meghan warned. She screamed. "That was kind of harsh, Meghan." Kat said "Are you afraid of dogs?" Kim asked. "Yeah Meghan. Not nice." The ginger said. She had an accent. Like English wasn't her first language mixed in with a bit of nerd. She picked up the dogs and carried them away. "Hey, Meghan. Is she your friend?" Kim approached her. Meghan nodded. "Yup! That's Velma. Isn't she sweet?" Meghan asked. Kat furrowed her brows. "Yeah she's so sweet, scaring you with her dogs." Kim said sarcastically. "Hi." Velma said. "So this is an asylum? It's not very scary." Kim said. "It's big enough for your bakery." Kat told Meghan. "It's not official and it's only been abandoned for a decade. Not long at all. We've been cleaning up the downstairs but my parents don't like it." She said. "Come, let me show you around!" Meghan led them to the back of the lobby. There was a clear empty space. "This will be the dining room." Meghan told them. She showed them around the bottom floor and downstairs of what is soon to be the next Ichigo Bakery. Kinda ugly. "Now, ladies this is the washroom. Don't mind the lack of work here." She said. "A few candles lit the washroom but it was dark and dirty. "Look at these mirrors. They're so foggy I can't see my reflection." Kat said as she passed by each one. "Except for this one. I can see my reflection clearly." Kat looked and admired herself. "That's great but why don't I see myself?" Kim asked. "Huh?" Kat looked in the mirror and saw that Kim had no reflection. Nor Meghan or Velma. Only she did. "That's weird? Oh? Ahh!" Kat's reflection's head started spinning. Then it smiled. Kat screamed. "This place really is haunted!" She exclaimed. Meghan began to laugh. "It's a joke mirror meant to scare you." She said. Kat straightened up. "Are you serious?" She asked. "It's a prop. I promise. Now this is the only bathroom break on the tour. Take one now." She said. "Meghan it's too late to be making these jokes." Kat shook her head. "I'm not making these jokes. There's a story of Mikisaga. She went to war when she was young and she was beaten up and nearly killed. She loved jokes but since they drafted her without her consent and they were so serious, the punished her for jokes. So she never told any. She was sent to this hospital for her ptsd treatment. If we don't make enough jokes, she'll be angry." Meghan said. "Whatever, but now is not the time." They continued on with the tour but it got later and later. "Alright, Meghan it's getting late. We're going back to Valerie's place. It's getting scary and my brain is so tired it's playing tricks on me." Kim said. "Wait, stay! I was thinking about turning the upper floors into a hotel! Want to see? It's not decorated yet though." Meghan said. Kat shook her head. "No thanks. You've worked so hard today, how about you come back to the slumber party with us.
