After completing the formalities, I went towards Aaron's cabin. I knocked on the door and entered after hearing a faint come in. h

"Hey Aaron, do you have a minute?"

He looked at me with a smile and said, "Hi Hope. Yes, sure. Have a seat."

I sat on the chair infront of his desk. "What can I do for you? Congratulations on your selection by the way."

"Thank you so much. Actually I was planning on having a party for Haven's birthday. As I am new here, I can use your help with the invitations and few other stuff."

"I would surely help you. Just tell me what to do."

We planned all the details for next half an hour and I made my way back home. In the evening, I decided to call Katie and Hayden.

"Hey there stranger. You forgot us completely after moving to San Francisco." Katie's voice came from the other side, sitting next to Hayden.

"Yeah yeah. There is nothing to remember about you." I replied.

"Oh my god, the audacity of this girl, I am offended. Hayden, tell her that I'll not talk to her ever. " saying this she turned her back towards the phone.

"Hey Hope. Just ignore this woman and tell me, how are you doing and how is Haven?" Katie huffed hearing him and pinched him in the arm without turning around.

"I'm doing great. Haven is also good. You guys tell me what's happening there?"

"We are trying to find jobs for us. Given a few interviews, waiting for the call back. What about you got any response from anywhere?"

"Yeah, that's what I call you about. I got a job as junior UI Developer in Haven's company."

"Oh my baby, I am so happy for you." Katie squealed and turned around hearing this and started to jump and clap like an excited kid.

"Congratulations Hope, you deserved it." Hayden said.

"Thank you guys. I wish you were here with me to celebrate. I miss you both so much." I said with a pout.

"Aww we miss you more Hopeyeee. How about we come there." Katie suggested.

"That's a great idea." Hayden said.

"Yes... We are having a party this Sunday for Haven's birthday. You guys can come then."

"We can have an early flight on Sunday morning then, what say babe." Hayden asked Katie.

"I am okay with it."

We talked for some more times about random stuff for sometime. Then I start making dinner for us.

As I was cleaning up, Haven snaked her hands around my waist from behind and whispered in my ear, "Hi kitten." saying this she started kissing my jaw and neck.

"Someone is in a good mood." I said tilting my neck giving her more access.

"Hmm. My wife will be working with me. I am so happy." She turned me around and hugged me, nuzzling her face into my neck. I hugged her close and felt content. We stood like that for few minutes. She placed a soft peck on my collar bone and stood straight, keeping her arms around my waist.

"Join me in the shower, please" she said giving me a cute pout and puppy eyes. That is a difficult look to resist.

"No, this look would not affect me. I have to complete preparing the dinner, you go ahead. And I took a shower just an hour or so ago." I pulled away from her. As I was about to open the fridge, I heard her saying, "Oh I am sorry kitten, now you are dirty, you will have to take a shower." and I was covered in flour from head to toe.

"Haven, I'll kill you." I turned around and saw her with a mischievous smirk. I took  the container and dumped it on her head.
