I woke up with warm rays of sun on my face. Hope was cuddled to my chest with a peaceful expression. I slowly removed the hair falling on her face. I laid there watching her for a long time.

Her eyes fluttered and she was about to opened them. I closed my eyes, not wanting to come out as a creep, watching her sleep. I felt her shuffle around the bed and then I felt a small kiss on my forehead and a small Thank you. That small gesture increased my heartbeat. I hope she is not able to hear it. After sometime I heard the closet door open. I opened my eyes and touched the place she kissed. A huge grin made its way on my face.

Hope can out dressed for the day and saw me sitting with my back rested on the headboard. Her cheeks turned a little red and she wished me Good morning.

"Good Morning Hope" I said with a big smile. "Let me fresh up and we can go for breakfast downstairs."

"Okay."

After breakfast we can back inside out room. Hope started studying and I start reading a book. The whole day went by this way. Hope studying and me reading or feeding her snacks or meals and urging her to have small breaks in between.

The next morning, I woke up with Hope's head on my shoulder and our legs tangled. She was snoring softly. She studied for the whole day yesterday. I had to force her to sleep at 2 at night, she was ready to pull an all nighter. I checked the time. It was 6:30. Her exam starts at 9. I started running my fingers through her hair to wake her up. "Wake up Hope." She groaned and held me tight. I could get used to waking up with her snuggled to me.

"Hope sweetheart you have to wake up for your exams." She opened her eyes and get up in hurry. "Oh God I'll be late." She panicked and stood up from the bed. "Hey, it's 6:30 you have lot of time."

She rushed inside the closet saying, "Not enough." I got up and made my way towards the kitchen. She needs to eat before going. Mom and dad usually wake up after 7. So the whole house was quite. I guickly prepared some pancakes and bacon. I placed everything on a tray and got some coffee too.

When I reached out room, Hope was sitting on the couch revising. "Breakfast time" "No please let me revise." She said without looking from her notes.

"Hope you need to eat something before exam. I said setting the tray on the table. "But Haven, I got only an hour so much to do." she said whining.

I handed her the cup of coffee and held some pancakes in front of her mouth. And said "Eat" She looked at me and then the fork and teared up. "Hey what's wrong. Okay I will not force you just drink the coffee and please don't cry."

"Thank you Haven for caring." she said sniffing. I wiped her tears and fed her. "No need to say thanks. You are my wife, obviously I will care." She stared at her notes then hugged me and sobbed. I let her cry and held her close to me.

After sometime her cries subsidies and I fed her and ate myself. At 8 we left for her university. In the car as well she kept her nose in her notes only.

Once we reached, I opened the door for her and asked. "At what time will you be free?" "11" she replied. I collected all her stuff and put inside her bag. "I'll be here by that time."

"No, I can come on my own." she replied closing her notebook.

"Hope, it's fine I can pick you up. After that we can go have lunch somewhere." She nodded. "Good Luck" I said kissing her cheek. She stilled and turned red.
"Stop distracting, I have to concentrate." she said blushing and went towards the gate.

Then she turned and said with a big smile ,"I'll wait here." Seeing her running inside I felt a warmth spread in my chest. What is this girl doing to me.

I sat inside the car and drove to a cafe nearby to spend the next 2 hours.
