As I kept the food on the table, Hope came out of the closet wearing a blue sundress. "Come have breakfast." I said gesturing towards the plate.

"I am not hungry." She said timidly. "I know you didn't eat anything yesterday as well. Sit here and eat."

She sat down on the couch and looked towards the plate. "Won't you eat?" she asked. "I had breakfast when you were asleep."

"Oh...kay" saying she started eating  slowly. I opened the book I picked earlier and sat on my desk chair.

"I was thinking about going back home." she said after some time. I looked towards her, she was nervously playing with her fingers and looking down at her lap. "Why?" She didn't wanna live here, yesterday she agreed.

"My mother did not pack some of my notes and books which I need to prepare for my exam." I somehow felt relieved hearing her reason.

"Okay. Do you want me to come with you?" She was still looking down. "You can if you like it's not compulsion. You might have some important work to do other than fetching my notes and books. I don't want to bother you. If you don't want, I'll call a cab or my friends. They can pick me up and drop after I get the stuff... " She kept on talking and her breathing became heavy. She looked like she was about to have a panic attack.

I got up from the chair and sat next to her. She flinched a little and said " Please don't yell again. I am sorry. I'll go alone." That made me regret the way I talked to her last night.

"Hey just breathe in and now out. Calm down okay. Relax I'll go with you. No need to overthink. And I am sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you last night." Her breathing became normal, and she looked at me with a small smile and said, "Thank you." "Be ready we will leave in twenty minutes." "Okay."

We left towards her parents' house in my car. I saw that she was nervously looking out and fidgeting with her fingers. "When are your exams starting?" I asked trying to distract her from whatever she was thinking about. She looked at me and then back at her lap. "Only two are left, one is day after tomorrow and last one this Friday." "Last term, right?"

"Yes." that took me by surprise. Why would her parents set the date of her brother's wedding in between her exams, that too for last term. "Are you prepared?" I asked. She groaned, "What, are you not?"

"It's not like that, for the next exam I am well prepared, actually it is one of my favorite subjects for UI design. But for next is Python programming which I hate and don't understand well."

"It's not that bad. Well Python I am kind of an expert in it. I can help if you want."

"I..umm..yes that would help a lot." she said.

When we reached her place, she said "Would you like to come in? If you don't want that's completely fine by me, with all that happened."

"I'll wait here." I said. "Okay, I'll be back in 15 minutes. " saying she left.
