At The Beach:
For a few seconds, Neil froze. Aradhna hugged him tightly and Neil wasn't even responding out of shock. Time passed and Neil was back in his senses.
Neil was delighted by the reaction because she wasn't pulling away. Instead, she took a very huge step in his direction. No matter what she thinks about him after the revelation, all is not lost. He can still work his way to her heart.
He was so overwhelmed by her reaction and felt so light after coming clean to her, that he forgot, that he was accepting his feelings to himself unintentionally. Before he could realize, Aradhna pulled back and matched his eye line.
"Aise kaise ho Neil tum? Itne pyaare kaise ho? Itna honest? Aur itna guilt? For what?" She asked in disbelief.
The emotions were too heavy for her to take at that stage, but she also understood how important her reaction was for Neil. So, she decided to not be impulsive about it.
She would rather convey her feelings simplistically, rather than complicating things by attempting something, that is so not her. Neil looked shocked. He wasn't expecting that from her for sure.
"Maine tumhe pehli baar dekha tha ek night party mein, Udaipur bas visit karne ayi thi main tab. Meri hi dost ki party thi jahan maine tumhe ek ladki ke saath dekha." Aradhna revealed and Neil was stunned by the information.
"Main jaanti thi woh ladki kaisi hai aur maine socha bhi tha ki tum uske saath kaise hosakte ho? Kyunki tumhari family ke bare mein aur tumhare bare mein Udaipur mein kafi charche the. Meri dost ne bhi acha acha bol rakha tha mujhse.
But knowing how that girl hates commitment, I judged you. Almost ek mahine baad phir se mile hum. You were with someone else, and I assumed that you would be Casanova kind of guy.
Us din kuch aisa hua ki mera impression tumhare uper jo tha, woh poora change hogaya." Aradhna was narrating and Neil was just looking on.
"I happened to see you sharing a conversation with that girl I saw you with, when I saw you for the first time. Woh tumhe thank kar rahi thi for being a gentleman and understanding her state of mind. Main toh shock ho gayi.
Casanova type ka ladka hain. Kal uske saath tha aur aaj kisi aur ke saath. Aisa kya kardiya ki itni respect de rahi hain?" Aradhna was too involved in the narration that she missed the embarrassment and guilt on Neil's face.
