"I trust you can deal with this, Adam. We cannot have Heaven know about his release, do you understand."

"Chillax babe, I've got this on lockdown! No way some "lost soul" dumbass could overpower me."

"You don't understand, Adam, you were not there when we sealed him away."

"Yeah, 'cause I was playing with my band! Priorities, bitch!"

Emily was skipping around the corners, dancing through the palaces of Heaven as she often did, before she stumbled across a hush-hush conversation between Sera and Adam. They had these fairly often, and Emily was reassured that as she got older she would be let into the politics and deeper discussions of the higher powers of Heaven.

That was ridiculous, though! She wasn't a child; she had been around for ages - she appeared only shortly after Lucifer fell. She had every right to know what was going on.

So, curiously, she poked her head around the corner and into Sera's office space, where Adam and Lute were standing side by side

Sera - "I am saying you do not understand what he is capable of! I was there, I have seen him do unexplainable things that rival the divine almighty, and if that man were to step foot into Heaven once more who knows what could happen? I am unsure you're the best pick for this."

Adam - "WHAT?! We're the MOST qualified angels in Heaven to deal with this dickbag! My girls can go down there and stop him in no time-"

Sera - "Hush, Adam! You run your mouth too often."

Sera sighed deeply, turning around to look out the window wearily.

Sera - "Do what must be done, and let me know when it has been taken care of. If I am informed Long Sleeves passes into Heaven, you shall face my wrath, do I make myself clear?"

Adam - "Crystal clear, sweetcheeks. C'mon Lute, let's get this cocksucker!"

Long Sleeves? Where had Emily heard the name before? Adam and Lute walked into a portal, disappearing and letting Sera release a sigh she had clearly been holding in. Emily waited for a few seconds before knocking on the door.

Emily - "Sera? Do you have a moment?"

Sera - "Oh, Emily! You startled me. But yes, of course I do, how can I help you?"

Emily - "I was just doing my usual check-up! Y 'know, if any new souls come in yet? At all? Please?"

After another deep sigh, Emily was given her answer. No one had arrived at Heaven in a long time. While everyone here was, uh... pleasant, or at least manageable, Emily would love to show a new face around, see that glimmer behind their eyes, the sparkle of realising they were in eternal paradise!

But today was clearly not that day.

Sera - "Emily, the moment a new soul arrives in Heaven you will be the first person I shall inform. Until then, I cannot help you. I'm sorry."

Her promise felt hollow. They often did.

Y/N was expecting a bit more extravagance from this plan cooked up by the Princess of Hell herself. The room he walked into, however, was in a state of disrepair. Floorboards cracked and uneven, a stained red carpet, cracked windows letting in very little hellish light from outside, piles of boxes of yet-to-be-unpacked furniture, and lots and lots of dust. Like, a comical amount of dust. All sorts of insects too, some eating each other, some "eating" each other, but all of them crowded in the corners of the room.
