Darya
I decided to wear red, to comoint to the idea of meeting his people. His people, this crowd I wrote so much about. Face to face. How scary could this be?
He honks his horn, abruptly. Encouraging me to come down the elevator. I quickly double check myself.
Makeup looks amazing. The red dress, tight and flowy embroidered with small golden flowers. I checked my bag, wallet, make-up, pen, and keys. Where's my phone?
I check everywhere in my room. Glancing at the classified files I had yet to go through. Inspecting my beds crevice. There's a knock on the door,
“Hello?” I question, nobody ever knocks. Nobody answers, my mind still fixed on finding my phone. I go to check under the bed, while under the cramped dark underside of my bed. My phone rings. In surprise, my head goes up and I bang my head on the metal.
“Oww!” I let out.
Crawling under my bed I turn around to see a smug face that irritates my bones. Ky. ''how long have-'' I start, finishing when he waves my phone's practicality in my face.
“Looking good Lucy.”
Lucy! How many girls is he talking to? “Darya.” I look at him.
“Come on Luce, we're going to be later than we actually are already.” he looks at my phone,i snatch it out of his hand.
