I woke up in bed and I must have fallen asleep in the car. I look around at the darkness of my walls. I slide off the bed, looking down. I'm still in my dress. I go and change into a top and some bottoms. Looking around and seeing the dusty box still on my desk asking to be opened.
I have been putting it off, because of a feeling that I am not going to like what is in there.
I walked into the kitchen and was greeted by Asher and Sky sitting close together. I pull out a bowl from the top cupboard, and put some cereal into my bowl.
“Hey,” Asher replies, I wave in response. I just want to go out, but I'm scared of the fear that may lace my voice. Being marked isn’t something that people talk to the family about.
“What was the ball like?” Sky asked me. Putting her head on her hands.
“It was great, it was in this open and vast hall. There was ballroom music. He took me and we danced.” I give the story like Cinderella's story.
“That sounds amazing!” she exclaimed, she lived for disney stories.
I open the fridge to grab the milk gallon, but there's nothing there.
“Right we need milk, and bread. And other bits and bobs,” Sky announces my stomach rumbles.
“Asher grab your coat, we're going to go out shopping.” I told him.
“I don't even live here.” I roll my eyes at him as I grab my coat.
“You eat the most food out of all of us.” I told him.
Asher

It was difficult to explain the situation to all of them about the guards in front of the door. But it wasn't that hard Allana said she didn't hate the view.
In the shops, I pick two gallons of milk and place them into the trolley. I look around at what else we need. Then I see a familiar face Jack. he has been following me for the whole trip. Might as well ask him to hold the shopping bags.
After grabbing the essentials, we got to Costa to grab a hot chocolate. While waiting to grab and tell the barista what we want, I tell Asher everything. About the dahlias, the secrets and the man who's following us. We get to the front of the queue and tell the barista what we want.
“Cash or card.” then something clicks. Why was he able to afford such an expensive wedding? He was receiving cash. That's why his finances look so clean to clean. There had been no outflows. But who's paying him to stay quiet about what?
We got home at dinner, Kath has made some pasta with the aroma filling the house. After packing all the shopping we tucked into her food.
While everyone goes into their own rooms, I grab another plate of pasta and warm it up. Taking it down to the stairs, and outside to Jack, who's now leaning against the wall bored out of his mind.
“Thought you might be hungry.” I tell him to give him the plate and fork.
He digs into the plate. “I'll be leaving soon and another person will be here.”
I nod my head.
