The story was set in November 2019.
The location of the story was the mighty island city of Mandia which was the second-biggest island city, however it was the most populated just slightly ahead of Dereham being almost 30 million people, that made things extremely tough on the people having to spend a lot of money on buildings and food. For everyone resulting in the city not having a lot of money, so that resulted in a lot of people turning against the law to provide for their families. The mighty kingpin of crime in the city was a man called Salvador, and he didn't just run the city he ran all the island cities, the people he had placed in control all wanted him to die, so they could fight to take over, however it seemed that no one was able to even get close, and with him being almost 60 years old, it almost seemed like the gangs were willing to wait for nature to do the work for them. They were scared of Salvador because he understood what it meant to be in charge of crime, he knew what it took, he knew that to be in charge you couldn't just act like you were in control you had to BE in control and there could be no doubt because the slightest bit of doubt poking through would be the start of his fall, so he had to stamp it out, he did that by killing anyone who got in his way and messed up his perfect system of crime. The police couldn't do anything about it because he paid them to not do anything and look the other way, if they didn't do what he wanted he would threaten their families, so the police had a choice to either take the money or have their families suffer, it wasn't a hard thing to work out what choice to make. The problem was just because he was the king of crime that didn't mean he controlled all of it, and sometimes people tried to stand up to his control.
Salvador had a lot of enemies everywhere.
His enemy had been trying to take them down for years however he had the most amount of guns and money so ruled the land with an iron fist or a steel bullet. One day gangs were firing at a bar that Salvador owned trying to make him weaker by destroying his locations because he bought all the buildings which supplied their bars with alcohol and made them not do deliveries any more to the gang, so they had no way to make money that made them somewhat angry and Salvador knew they were going to attempt something stupid as taking down his locations so had a way to deal with it. They suddenly heard the rumble of cars in the distance. Before they were able to react, 4 black armoured jeeps arrived surrounding the gang members who loaded their machine guns believing they stood a chance, like a mouse standing up to a lion. The doors all swung open to allow the heavily armed men to charge out looking angry all wearing black suits like a uniform. They pointed their machine guns at the men commanding them to drop their weapons and surrender. The men seemed to consider fighting back and maybe die trying, however they were outmanned two to one, and they had better guns, so they looked at each other dropping their guns into the puddle at their feet, then raised their arms getting to their knees with their arms up. The moment they were down, one of the men nodded to a car which had parked outside the circle of cars caused by the men. A moment later a shiny black boot stepped out the car being followed swiftly by Salvador. He was wearing a gray smart suit, and blood-red tie. He was an old man with black well oiled hair, holding a black cane, the men could see hidden by his blazer and red suspenders was a pistol at his side. Salvador went over to the bar looking around holding his blazer looking disappointed. Salvador almost always walked with one hand on his cane and the other holding the front of his blazer. He shook his head turning to the men "nasty business this" he pointed his cane at the glass of the windows which had been completely shattered. He went over to the men leaning down getting face to face with one of them, he looked him deep in the eyes sighing deeply "what gang were you a part of boy? I have a lot of people trying to take me down recently" the boy looked terrified however he tried to compose himself "I'm part of the eagles, and we" Salvador interrupted "I don't care what you were trying to do, I don't care" he smiled then lit a cigar blowing the fumes in the boys face watching him trying not to cough "stupid name, now I am going to go and kill all the members of your gang. Funny that" he stood up "kill them!" his men raised their guns as Salvador turned away still smoking his cigar getting in his car.
Salvador drove away as they died.
Salvador got back to his massive beautiful mansion. He went to his office which was enormous almost like the White House. He went to his desk sitting on his leather chair. Salvador opened a wooden box pulling out a nice Cuban Cigar lighting it and taking a puff sitting back basking in the control he had of everything. Salvador was trying to do what he rarely ever got to do; relax, his life was full of so much stress he often just tried to sit and empty his mind, but stuff always got in the way. He had barely sat for 5 seconds when 4 men entered wearing black suits. Salvador sighed in annoyance "what do you require from me? And don't piss about with me, I am a very busy man" the men looked each other "are we not going to deal with the gang situation? Those men were not the only members" he smiled blowing smoke out his mouth "I have a plan for the gangs which concern all of you, so you all need to be ready for a fire fight" they looked a little worried because they knew that his plans were always really dangerous and would get one or all of them killed, he would come up with the plans then make the men do the dirty work "why don Salvador?" Salvador stood up "I am not a Don yet, and I haven't got the respect levels to become a don, not yet. However, once we've finished this job I will become one of the biggest gang bosses in the world. The gang has a vault full of millions of credits. If we steal it, they will be weakened, and we will be able to take them down" the men looked scared "that is a big job with a lot of moving parts, are you sure that we can do this?" "Yes, I've been planning this job for 6 months there is just one little problem" "what is that?" asked one of the men looking worried because if there was a problem they had to deal with it.
Salvador took a puff from the cigar.
"The problem is, I don't know the location of the vault, they have multiple houses scattered across the city with the vault inside one, we can't attack them all, we have to choose one and get it right, if we get it wrong they will move the money to another with even more security than the first, and we will have lost it. Luckily I have a solution to this worry, so we don't need to worry" "how do we know about the vault to begin with" asked one of the men. Salvador looked at him "we have informants in the gang who send letters every week. I just want to know one thing from you" "what boss?" Salvador leaned forward "why are you asking so many questions?" "I'm just curious about the details of the mission" he smiled "you know the old saying, curiosity killed the cat and in this scenario... you're the cat" he raised a silver revolver from his blazer pocket firing on the man killing him instantly. He pulled the gun back pointing it at the ceiling seeing the blood covering his hand "does anyone else want to ask questions? They have informants, so there is no reason to think it can't go the other way around, so any more questions?" they all shook their heads looking at the body spreading blood across the ground. They looked back at Salvador shaking their heads. Salvador nodded "good!" they all bowed their heads looking terrified of the unpredictability of Salvador.
Salvador placed the gun back into his pocket.
He then snapped his figures 3 people came in with a bottle of the most expensive water in the world at 4000 credits. They opened it and began pouring it over Salvador's hands like a tap of pure gold. He washed the blood off his hands "listen to me now, you better do this job, or life will go very wrong for you" when he was finished with the water he had used half of it and placed the cap carefully back on top. He whipped a white napkin out his pocket drying his hands then threw it into the roaring fire watching it fizzle away to nothing "downstairs are guns and the masks you'll need for this job. We don't know the location of the vault so what you need to do is break into the base and interrogate the gang leader for where the vault is, should be pretty simple" "what if it's in the base?" he sniggered "do you really think they're idiotic enough to keep their vault in their main base they're not idiots" "yes Salvador"
