Meanwhile, in the other car.
The men were beginning to wonder where they were going. They couldn't really see because the windows were becoming fogged up from their own terrified breathing, what they did know was they were not going back towards Salvador's house, because they were going in the complete wrong direction, they almost seemed to be driving towards the bridges. Were they being lead out the city? Why? They weren't being let go, Salvador never just let people go. What they did know was wherever they were going it wasn't going to be good, but they still had some hope in their heart.
After half an hour of driving.
They finally arrive at their destination, the rain still bucketing down outside. The car doors swung open and there stood Salvador holding his umbrella and cane, however he had removed his black sunglasses with a look of anger on his face "get out now" he simply demanded with a frown big enough to send shivers through any man. The men looked to the 3 men in black suits standing behind Salvador all holding umbrellas "don't we get umbrella's?" asked one of the men in a hopeful voice. Salvador smirked "you won't need them where you're going. Now get... out!" they all looked at each other, they knew that if they ran he would kill them, if they tried to fight they would die trying. If they were going to die, they may as well take it with honour and without fear. They all sighed with seeming acceptance of what was about to happen, stepping out into a puddle feeling the rain on their coats and the wind blowing their hair around. Salvador slammed the doors of the car behind them then clicked at the men which seemed to activate their orders. They aggressively grabbed the men pushing them. They looked around finally seeing they were at the peer. The men saw the rain beating down on the wooden planks of the peer and boats. Before the men were able to think, they began getting pushed and pulled to the docks eventually arriving with their feet resting on the edge trembling.
Salvador stood watching them.
He respected them for not fighting back in any way, they were accepting their deaths "you know if there was any other way to make you not mess up again, I would do it. Sadly I've been around long enough to know there isn't, if I let you continue the fear of failure and ending back at this spot would only make it happen all the more, and I can't just let you go there are too many risks. But I do want you to know that because you're not family I will give you the best mercy I can give and make it quick and you better be glad you're not family, or you'd be spending the next 20 years in a meth lab to eventually die of disease. Be thankful and don't mess up again in your next life" the men trembled, and before they could say anything a boat came round the corner. That gave them hope "are we getting in that boat?" Salvador smiled "kind of. The police have been investigating the peer recently. You know this is where all my puppets strings are cut, so it's getting a little full. We're gonna do the job then dump you further out. Goodbye me. Have a nice afterlife" he turned walking away. The men looked into the deep ocean seeing the rain drop bounce off it closing their eyes as the gunshots echoed through the peer making the seagulls fly away into the rain as the bodies plummeted into the boat. Salvador got in his car leaving, having no idea someone was watching them from a nearby building.
Salvador went back to his base.
He told his men to bring him a man called Draco because he wanted the man who could get the job done right and there was no one else better to do it than him. Salvador went into his office sitting in his high back chair lighting up another cigar and trying again to relax, however being in his position that wasn't a luxury he was entitled to. He sat for a few moments of rest and relaxation, he began to rub his eyes as the tiredness overtook his body. He had noticed recently that he seemed to have lost something in himself he was getting slower and more tired everyday maybe his age was catching up.
After a few moments of peace.
An extremely muscly man entered wearing a grey suit with a black and white tie, the suit almost seemed a little too small for him. He sat down pulling the chair up a little closer to the desk. Salvador sat up moving closer facing Draco "hello Draco it's been so long since I've needed your help" Draco nodded "it has indeed, so this must mean it's serious, you only ever call if it's an emergency, what's the job?" Salvador nodded "it's very serious indeed" Salvador took a puff from his cigar then put it out in his ashtray lightning another. He pulled open a drawer "would you like a drink Draco? Or a cigar?" he nodded "yes, a brandy if you would my good man" Salvador began to pour him a drink also pouring one for himself replying "see that's funny because I'm not a good man. Want a cigar?" "No" Salvador pushed his glass over capping the bottle and placing it back in the cupboard closing it "so Draco how is work these day? I know it's getting harder and harder with the way the world is working" Draco smiled "despite the way of the world, my business is actually going better than expected, I just had an enormous shipment come in, and the police have no idea about it, got it right under their nose" Salvador looked a little confused "how did you manage that?" "It turns out the police are so invested in trying to catch you, they disregard the little people, I can kill a man in broad daylight and walk away without even a traffic cop arriving and that's all because of you. And that brings me to my question, how are things on your end? With the police riding up your arse and the fact you have called me in makes me think it isn't going well for you" Salvador shook his head "yeah, things are not perfect at the moment, my grasp on the wall is falling piece by piece, I had to kill 10 men today, they failed me and I can't have that happen again, and you know better than anyone, if you have someone fail you can not allow them to stay" Draco nodded "yeah, I know all about that"
Draco leaned forward ready for business.
"now I am willing to help you with this issue, what's the job?" "I have employed you to help me because I know you can be reliable for the correct place" Draco nodded "I believe anyone can be reliable for the correct price the trick is finding someone whose correct price is lower than everyone else, and yet still reliable. Luckily you've found one, so what needs done?" "These two gang leaders need to be kidnapped and bought to me alive in any way possible" "sounds doable, who is the gang?" "The Eagles" Draco nodded "oh, you're after their vault. What do I get for this?" "What do you think you would deserve?" Draco thought for a moment "it will take about 10 grand to get the pieces together, my fee is 75, so 85 thousand credits" Salvador nodded "how about an even hundred" "that works for me. Now you know how I work, you give me half the money and if I don't get the job done in a week, if I do you give me the rest" Salvador nodded "don't bother giving me that information, I know you'll do this" Salvador removed his phone from his pocket transferring 50 thousand credits over to Draco. Draco nodded seeing the payment which meant he could get to work "I understand, the week starts now. However, I will try and get him to you by the end of the day because now they're ahead of us. You have already sent a group of people, so now they are onto us, so I am going to have to move fast before they can have a plan" Salvador nodded "perfect" Draco stood up shaking hands with Salvador, he then stood upright buttoning up his jacket "I'll get started right away. I already know how this can be done" Salvador smiled "that's what I like about you, you are willing to do anything to get the job done and I respect that in a man" Draco left already having multiple plans of how to do the job and decided to go for the easiest. Salvador finished his drink watching Draco's car speed away. Salvador looked a little worried "he better get the job done. I respect him, I really don't want to have to end up in the river like the others" he closed the curtains stepping away from the window sitting back down and finally after a rough stressful day he was able to relax, until Draco got back.
