3 years later, it was 2023.
The ship was sailing like it normally did, crashing through wave after wave to plough through the ocean like cutting butter. Suddenly a large bell sounded through the boat sending fear through some crew members emanating from the crows nest. A voice accompanied the bell "ship... ship sighted!" a ship began to fire at them luckily they missed. They loaded their cannons with huge amounts of speed. Firing at the ship hitting into their masts making it difficult to move away. The pirates grabbed their ropes swinging to the ship beginning to fire at the crew of the other ship. They made their way into the bottom finding they had captured prisoners. They took the survivors and the prisoners to their boat awaiting more orders. The pirates discovered the captain had already died. The pirates went back to the boat putting the ships crew on the desk and the prisoners below. They chained the crew up preparing for the moment they were all excited for.
They began hearing a sound.
It was a sound which made the hears on the back of their necks shoot to the heavens. The sound of loud heavy stomping footsteps coming from above them was coming towards them, with every clanging footstep the crew shook slightly. A pair of heavy black boots with metal heels to create the loud clunk began walking down the wooden stairs slowly placing their pale tattooed hand with their long painted fingers on the railing scrapping their fingers on the wood making a horrible scratching sound. They were wearing, short shorts with black tights, a red corset with many pockets for knifes and coins and revealing some cleavage like all corsets, because of the chains and coins she made a slight clinking sound as she moved, she had a sheath that went around her shoulder down to her hip holding her pistol close to her stomach and the sword at her side. She also had a short black leather jacket. The woman also has many more tattoos her right arm was almost totally covered as well as her right leg, and a few on her back and stomach. This woman who was now 16 years old was of course Estella. She had changed her style massively from when she was in crime however loved that and if she was honest she hadn't really ever left crime she just moved from crime on the land to crime in the ocean. She always wore black lipstick and dark eyeliner because she thought it looked cool. Her hair had got a little darker and a lot longer, if it weren't braided it wouldn't been down to her lower back, the only reason it was darker was because the only time she ever washed it was when she swam somewhere. However, he braids made it, so it was only down to her shoulder blades. She hid a lot of it behind a brown leather pirate hat with a red and black long feather poking out of it however she had no idea what bird it came from. She glanced around seeing many of the men were dying and wouldn't last long, apart from one of the men who seemed to know that.
Estella stomped over to him.
She leaned down to his height getting uncomfortable close to his face. He heard her many coins and necklaces jingle together. She saw him shaking and not making eye contact with her. She placed a cigar in her teeth. Estella removed a lighter from her pocket lighting the cigar and blowing the smoke in the man's face. He coughed a little, she smiled "tell me boy... do you fear fate? I used to allow it to scare me" she removed the dial from her pocket "until I became fate itself" she licked her lips which she did when she talked, it was a twitch, she then made a kiss notion "now we will see if fate is on your side" she hit the button spinning the dial rapidly until it landed on "stabbed in the heart" she smiled then looked at the man "apparently not" she pulled out her sword ramming it through the chest of the man "that is fate at its worst" she pulled it out as he fell into the ocean, Estella stood back up looking at the others knowing what she had to do.
Estella spun the dial for the rest.
She saw all of them had to die from the sharks and was about to just kick a man into the water without spinning the dial assuming it was just going to say sharks anyway, however strange it declared that the man must live to tell the story, assuming that the dial had plans for the man in the future she decided to trust it "see, fate declares I must keep you alive to tell the story, just remember I am Estella Redwood the keeper of fate... don't come back to the ocean, ever, if you do, I'll find you. Fascinating how that works I am in complete control here. Get him on the row boat lower him down where he goes is on him if he isn't on land in a week we will find him, and the fate dial will tell me that. Now bring me to the prisoners you found" "hardly any survived only one is alive and trying to fight us" "okay Nicole... bring me to them" they went into the ship while the man got kicked into a boat and was cast off into the ocean to drift forever.
After a few days of drifting.
The man was still floating through the ocean with the red-hot sun beating down on his face, luckily a shadow went over him as a boat appeared, and he was finally picked up. They heard his babbling about pirates and fate. They decided to bring him to land which was potentially the most dangerous thing they could have done because they weren't just a simple fishing boat they were importing something so much more valuable, drugs and take a guess who they were coming from. When they arrived at the land, an army arrived to greet them thinking something went wrong with the shipment, followed by a black jeep, a man wearing a blue suit and red tie stepped out holding a cane that he actually needed to use because his age was picking up on him. He marched over to the man wondering what was going on "yes, who is this man? Why have you bought him to me?" "He was babbling about pirates sir, we thought we'd take him to you" Salvador bent down looking at the man "hey, look at me, who were these pirates? Why did they attack your boat?" the man chocked out "the leader, called herself the keeper of fate" "the keeper of fate?" "She had some fate thing" Salvador nodded "what did she look like?" "She was young, just pirate clothes... red hair" the moment the words left his lips Salvador's eyes opened wide as a spark of fear ignited inside him "red hair? What was her name? Her name! Tell me her name!" he had a little shake in his voice. The man's last dying word was "Estella!" Salvador let go of the back of his head letting it hit the ground with a loud thud, but he didn't care about that "oh my God... it's Estella, she's back from the dead" "whose Estella?" asked his new number 2 "She shouldn't be alive, I left her to die, on an island, 4 years ago. How is she still alive?" "Who is she?" Salvador paused "hell" then he realized the horror "she's coming here, she will be coming here... search the ocean for her... find her, FIND HER! And kill her"
As they searched the ocean.
Estella had ordered them to sail days before and finally the prisoner who was still alive woke up because they had to knock her out from her fighting them. Estella went over to the cell addressing the 2 guards "leave us for a moment" they looked at each other "we warn you she's a real fighter" Estella smiled "and I'm not?" "Good point" they gave her the keys to the cell and left her. She opened the door stepping inside, the woman was sitting on her knees with her hands tied behind her back and a sack on her head. She was wearing old ripped rags sitting in a few centimetres of straw. Estella walked forward hearing the cage close, she decided to lock it up just in case "sorry you have to be locked up like this, but you can never be too careful, you were a prisoner for a reason, also you have fought a few of my men, but I'll disregard that, you were kidnapped by pirates that's fair enough. Now let's talk" she grabbed a chair from the corner placing it in front of the woman sitting down making herself comfortable "right let's start with your name" the woman didn't say anything "why were you on that ship? What did you do?" she still didn't say anything "oh come on, don't just let me monologue, this is a conversation, give me something back" there was a pause then the woman muttered "I was kidnapped about 4 years ago by a gang of pirates, they kept me imprisoned working for them, so I could do work on the ship" "really? That must have been tough, the ocean is not a fun place 3 years of sailing it has taught me that. What's your name?"
