Jason was used to a lot of Rowan's antics by now. They had been dating for about ten months and as far as he knew, they were both on the same page about this relationship being a long term thing. But her randomly getting up and plopping herself onto his lap before curling up into his chest was a new one.

He barely caught himself, not ready for another human to randomly invade his personal space like that. The boy managed to regain his balance pretty fast though, looping his arms around his girlfriend and holding her close to him. If there was one person always allowed in his personal space, it was Maia Rowan Lupin.

"You okay ?" He whispered into her ear, stroking at her hair.

She nodded, nuzzling her face into his chest. "Just want to be in your arms," she muttered.

Jason happily obliged, placing his chin onto her head. Tightly her to him.

He looked at Remus. "This doesn't bother you, right ?"

"Do you mean, will I suddenly start hating you because you're cuddling my niece in front of me ?" The man teased. Jason flushed, Rowan giggling against his chest. "No, Jason. I'm happy she has someone she can go to for comfort."

Jason smiled at him. He glanced to the others, finding his friends all had those stupid smiles on their faces. Jason rolled his eyes with a mock annoyance. "The obsession you have with our relationship is unhealthy."

"Sorry we're happy for you," Brenna sarcastically commented.

Jason only shook his head. Rowan chuckled again in his arms. "Thank you for being happy for us," he said. "Now can we..." he nodded to the book which patiently waited for their discussion to finish before resuming.

"Yes, let's," Sirius rubbed his hands together excitedly.

"Wait, we're just allowing this ?" Molly Weasley cried.

"Bloody hell," Remus muttered before taking a calming breath. "Yes, Molly ? What now ?"

"You're alright with this ?"

"Is there a reason I shouldn't be ?" He wondered.

"They're children !"

"They're legally adults in our world," he retorted. "Both 17. And they have been through a lot, I think it's perfectly fine if they hold each other."

"He's right," Sirius spoke up. "It's innocent enough. It's not like they're making out or something. Why is this bothering you so much ?"

Molly had nothing there. "Let's continue," Professor McGonagall said, clearly just as done with the constant comments and protests by certain Order members.

Let the poor kids live.
