Chapter 4: Catbus

"The only thing that can shatter diamonds is the perfect family harmony." John said. "And you're the only family I have that can do that."

"Floyd." Whispered Branch.

You look at Branch sadly. That must be hard to hear even if it was one of the most insane things you had ever heard.

"Ok so basically you're here to get Branch and your other brothers to save Floyd with something called the perfect family harmony that can shatter diamonds?" you said.

"Yeah." John said while nodding.

"Ok I'm just gonna roll with that." you say to him. You had learnt it was better to not question things in this world.

"Oh, yeah." said Branch, "So we can attempt to sing something we've only tried once and failed so miserably at, that we broke up and never talked to each other again."

"I think you should give it a try." you say to Branch and John Dory.

"What? Uh..." he said then gestured to you "Could you give us a second?"

Raising an eyebrow you lean over to him.

"Okay, what are you doing?" he said to you.

"I want to help save your brother Branch and I think you should too." you say. "This might be a good chance to reconnect with them."

Branch sighed "Y/N It's not that easy, okay? You don't get it. No offense but you don't have any family here."

You suck in a breath of air, "well I did have family and I did know how important they are. Yeah they can be very annoying, especially siblings but they can give your life meaning and make it feel more full."

Branch did not look impressed.

Maybe that wasn't the best thing to say.

"Branch, who else does he have to turn to for help?" You get closer to him, "you can't just let your brother have his life taken away from him and just stand there." you say to him getting very serious, "you better than that"

Branch sighs and says "Okay, listen. If there was a brother that I might do this for, and I'm not saying there is, it would be Floyd."

"I'm guessing that's a maybe." you said to him.

"Yes! Works for me." Yelled John Dory.

"Yeah!" yelled Poppy excitedly. You guess that she was gonna want to come along as well then, which you didn't mind. The more the merrier.

"BroZone 2.0. BroZone reunion. BroZone, here we bro again. BroZone, where'd they bro?" Poppy said, messing around. "I don't know. But we're gonna find them."

"Alright, how are we gonna do this?" You stand up stretching your back and John looks at you.

"Wait, are you coming with us?" he said, confused.

You glance at him confused,"yeah of course I am." you say "I didn't want Branch to go on his own."

John Dory sucked in a loud breath of air groaning, "well you see my ride might not be big enough for you sooo, you might have to stay here."

You realized that John didn't know about the whole hug time bracelet you had. You looked up again and said "oh don't worry about it, it'll be fine."

John Dory opened his mouth to protest again but the ground started to rumble. Everyone looked around again wondering what was coming now.

"Hey, looks like our ride's here." Said John.

The carpet started to rise up next to you and before anybody could react exploded open as an animal with a long body and red lips burst out.
