Chapter 13: reunited

Rhonda followed closely behind them, even jumping after them when they drove off the building toward more busy roads.

It seemed this place was designed for people to do that all the time which must have been some kind of seriously dangerous safety hazard. You even saw that some of the cars looked a lot like cages and had no seats or belts to go with them. God, FHWA and NHTSA would have a field day here.

"What's up, Mount Rageous?" Shouted Velvet into a microphone, standing on the back of the car. "You didn't think we were just gonna give you a boring, old stage show, did you?" She asked the people driving around her.

"That's what we explicitly bought tickets for." Some rando said from the back of his car.

"We're taking this show on the road!" Velvet roared.

The people around got excited and started to crowd the road in front of Rhonda trying to get the best view possible.

"Oh, man. I'm trying to get through, but they got no respect for the blinker." Complanted Tiny at the wheel.

After a few more seconds of trying to get around the other drivers you all got a somewhat better view of the twins. They were both now dancing at the back of the car, like who's even driving anymore? Is it on cruise control? At this rate they're gonna crash before we even get near them.

"Sweet dreams Are made of this. Who am I to disagree?" Sang Velvet into a microphone she had, as you got right up behind them. Rhonda was getting close enough to jump on when a cloud of purple glitter was thrown into her face blinding her. She shook her face slowing down a little.

"Oh! This is too much. I only have my learner's permit!" Squealed Tiny diamond scared.

Branch signed, taking him off the driver seat and sitting down, driving himself.

"Tiny, give me the thing." Branch said.

"What thing?" Said Tiny confused.

"You know, the thing thing." he continued to ask.

Tiny squinted his eyes at him "Mmmmm."

"Come on, Tiny, don't do me like that." he yelled.

"Really? right now." You say to Branch. "We can do that after."

Branch gave you a guilty sideways glance.

"Tiny I need it." He said again.

Tiny laughed, "Yeah, I knew what you was talking about." Tiny handed them the thing he was asking for which was a baby binky.

Branch grabbed it from his outstretched hand and puts it in his mouth immediately "Oh. Oh, that's good." He said.

Grimacing you scrunch your face up in disgust, "is that used?" you asked Tiny, referring to the binky.

"Yeah, it saves money using only one," Tiny said, making you gag.

"Branch, there they are." Poppy pointed to Velvet and Veneers car that was on another road parallel to yours.

"Oh, come on, how are we gonna get over there?" You say frustrated.

Branch answered your question by making a sudden sharp turn to the right going straight off the red road toward them. Tiny screamed in surprise as Rhonda started to fall again.

"Hold her steady, Tiny." Branch told Tiny grappling him and placing him on the driver seat. Branch ran over to the side door, jumping out of it using the sticky hand he had. You rushed to the door to make sure he hadn't fallen to his death.
