They placed their talismans into the vault and watched the magic unfold as they saw two adults walking out of the entrance that could be their parents.
"Mom?", Milo questioned, "dad!", Shasha tried to see but the light was blinding her and the adults said their names once they were finally out of the vault and had a clear view of their kids that they had abandoned since birth for a valid reason.
The guardians ran up to their parents to tightly hug them as it had been thirteen long years since they had seen them, even though they had just found out about them and that they were twins a few moments ago.
"We've got all the time in the world to catch up!", the brunette man spoke as he wheeled into the fortress with all eyes on him, "Leo!", Martha spoke happily as she hasn't seen her brother for ages and was glad to finally see him again after so long.
"Welcome back sis!", he opened his arms to embrace his long lost sister into a hug, not wanting to let go as it has been twelve years since he last saw her.
The guardians and their dad soon joined the big family hug, before parting and heading out of the guardian fortress, walking home as everyone cheered and waved at them.
"So, what happens next? What about Luca?", Milo questioned, inquisitive to know more, "can you just enjoy the moment Milo? Luca's not going anywhere!", she reassured her brother as they continued walking with their reunited family towards their home.
