Milo woke up to the warm glow of the sun beaming on face as he woke up, feeling well rested and looked over to his twin, who was still sleeping.

"Shasha! Shasha come on, we need to wake up for school!", he whispered into her ear as he gently shook her shoulder.

"Ok, ok. I'm awake!", the pink haired girl groaned as she rubbed the tiredness out of her eyes and sat up in bed.

The twins then took it in turns to use the bathroom to take a rejuvenating shower that cleansed their skin, before getting dressed into their usual attire.

Once they had both finished getting ready, they walked downstairs into the kitchen, hoping to see their uncle cooking breakfast like always, but when they hit to the kitchen, the couldn't see him.

Their relative was nowhere in the kitchen, the frying pan was even in the stove and counters that have normally got ingredients from the cupboard on top were deserted.

"This odd, uncle Leo is always downstairs making breakfast for us!", Shasha concluded in a puzzled tone, wondering what was going on today.

"He's probably just running late or he didn't wake up to his alarm clock. I'll go check up on him!", Milo reassured his sister as he ran up the stairs.

He reached his relatives bedroom and gently knocked against the door, but after hearing no answer, he pushed the door open and saw him still asleep in his bed.

"Uncle Leo! Uncle Leo!", he whispered into his ear as he drool his arm, causing him to instantly wake up to the slight sound and movement.

"Hey champ! What's up?", he questioned sympathetically, "you slept through your alarm and it's nearly time for school!", the dark-haired boy enlightened him.

"I'm sorry buddy! Give me a few minutes and I'll come downstairs to make you and Shasha breakfast!", he gave his nephew a hug, before he left his room.

The brunette man then slowly got up and as he was getting into his wheelchair, he could feel his muscles aching and unbearable pain in his abdomen, but he ignored it, thinking that it would go away if he emptied his waste.

So he wheeled into the bathroom and sat on the toilet to  do his business, feeling the pain worsen as he released very liquid diarrhoea, while also feeling nauseous at the same time.

"What is going in with me today?", Leo questioned himself as he hot back into his chair and washed his hands thoroughly with soap, before grabbing a thermometer from the cabinet and sticking it in his mouth to check his temperature.

"38.5°C. Wow! I must have food poisoning!", he said to himself as he put the thermometer back and headed downstairs to make his niece and nephew breakfast.

"Sorry for waking up so late!", he apologised to the twins as he started making cereal for breakfast as he didn't have enough time to cook toast or pancakes, plus he wasn't feeling his best today.

"That's ok uncle Leo! Everyone has their lazy days!", the twins replied in unison, before they were served their food and they started eating.

"Uncle! Are you not going to eat breakfast with us?", Shasha narrowed her brows as he always ears with them, "not today I'm not feeling hungry!", he replied as left the room.

Once the twins had finished eating and had washed up, the way about to leave for school, but when they saw their relative lying down on the sofa, they gasped in horror.

"Uncle Leo! Are you alright?", Milo questioned sympathetically as they both ran towards him, seeing a sick bowl besides him and a glass of water on the table.
