Girls Want Girls

Pt.33

"There she goes again" Caroline laughs standing next to me as we're watching Paige argue with the ref. "She's really frustrated" I breathe out before I hear Geno call her over.

"Ice you're up come on!" He yells. I grab a water and take it over to where Paige was sitting. "Are you okay?" I ask but she doesn't respond. I knew she was upset considering she had been counting up her losses and since the game against Texas wasn't looking so good I understood where she was coming from.

I go back and take my seat next Caroline "didn't even get a response" i tell her "she'll get over it later" she chuckles. A couple minutes pass by for halftime gets called and the girls make their way to the locker room.

"Paige are you okay" Isabella asks running up to her. Due to  the vast space between us I couldn't hear what they were saying but I could see them conversing. "There is no way she's talking to her and I asked a simple question and I didn't even get a damn response" I say angrily to Nika.

"She just does stupid things when she's mad" "do not defend her!" I exclaim which makes nika laugh "I'm not it's just I get where the frustration is coming from" she shrugs. "Yeah well it's not my fault I'm just here to make you girls look good"

After a long session of having Geno point out the flaws in the game the girls began packing up in complete silence. "Maddie there's a guy looking for you" Dailey says coming into the locker room "for me? Is it the guy from the dinner?" I ask referring to my brother in law.

"Brunette curly hair a little tan glasses maybe 6'2?" Then and there I knew exactly who she was talking about. "Is he cute?" Caroline asks making Dailey laugh "Carol!" I giggle "what is he?" She asks again "tiny bit" I say raising my index and thumb.

I grab my backpack that was filled with equipment and put my arms through. "Paige doesn't look too happy" Nika says holding my arm whispering into my ear.

"Yeah well she didn't want to talk to me either way" I whisper back and kiss her cheek goodbye. I make my way to the vanity area "who's out waiting for you?" Paige says coming behind me as I'm looking at my reflection in the mirror.

"Gee she speaks!" I say sarcastically "Maddie..." "go talk to Isabella" I answer annoyed by the simple thought of them speaking. "Maybe I will maybe she won't be as bitchy as you only because I didn't answer a simple question" she says coldly.

For my sake and hers I decide to let her have the last word and i just walked away. Regardless I knew she'd be the first one to apologize not that I had anything to apologize for but she'd be regretting everything she said to me.

I make my way out the locker room to find the guy Dailey was talking about. "Madeline!" He smiles "Diego hi!" I smile.
