"Maddie are you here?" Paige asks from my bedroom. "I'm coming!" I yell taking the food I had post mated over to the bedroom. "Hi good morning" I smile. "Hold on let me go brush my teeth and wash my face" she says heading to the bathroom.

I go out back and serve a cup of orange juice and take it to my room. I turn on the tv and play my current watch before Paige comes out the bathroom.

"Hi" she smiles sitting next to me. "Hi" I smile back pausing the tv. "I missed you" she whispers "like I was having withdrawals type beat" she laughs. "I bet" I smile. "I'm so sorry Maddie" "it's okay I understand.... I got us breakfast I got pancakes and an omelette I cut up some fruit too" "I love you" she blurts.

Although she had said it last night, last night did not feel as real considering she wasn't very much sober. "I think I love you too" I joke "oh nah think is crazy" she laughs. "I'm kidding baby I love you too" I say pressing my lips onto hers.

"Mm I missed you so much" she says pressing my body closer to hers. "I missed you too now let's eat I'm starving" I say giving her one last peck on the lips.

"So would you like to tell me who the guy you left me for was?" She asks as I hand her her food. "He was a friend I knew back in high school" i tell her. "Yeah and nika said you two dated" "Yeah he was he just wanted to catch up it had been a while" I shrug.

"Nika thinks he's still interested" "mm yeah and I told nika I had a idiot girlfriend that I like a lot" I say leaving Paige with a big grin on her face.

"Are you going to weight training?" She asks "mm I don't think, I'm a little behind i want to get some posts up before filming new stuff" "you can work on the side" "oh yeah just follow you every single station?" I smile she simply smirks and nods. "I just need you around my vicinity twenty four seven" "I'll probably get tired of your ass" I laugh. "I doubt that you know you love being around me" "when you're not being an idiot" I giggle.

"Which is never" "you ignored me because you were mad you weren't winning a game" i say turning back to see her face. "And I feel like shit for doing so and you know that" she says kissing my neck. "Mm I wonder why Isabella stays around no offense but you'd be such a turn off if I was her but then again you are pretty great so I see where she's coming from" I shrug.

She laughs "okayyy you eat your breakfast sweetheart" "sweetheart?" I giggle "you're so cute" I tell her. "How do you feel that you have such a smart beautiful hot talented basketball player girlfriend?" She asks. "Kate Martin isn't my girlfriend yet silly" a gasp is all I hear come from Paige which causes me laugh.

"That is crazy..." she laughs awkwardly "I'm kidding" I giggle "you are not" "I am you know I am so in love with you" I say turning to face her once again. "Yeah you are and I am too" she smiles.

I lowkey should've drafted up an ending before even starting the book because I truly have no idea how I want to end this book. Originally I wanted to end it with march madness or like end of season but i hate that it'd be such a time jump yall lmk give some feedback 😭
