Ruby was in complete shock, she couldn't believe what she was looking at.
Ruby: Rex? You're... alive?
Rex: Hey, Ruby...
Ruby gets up and hugs him as his arms open to catch her. She and Rex kissed like they haven't for eternity. Qrow, Mia, and Zach stopped the fight and looked at Rex. Jaune, Ren, and Nora couldn't believe what they're seeing as Nora squealing quietly. Mason, Kyla, and the Percival Twins also looked at Rex kissing Ruby.
Briana: No way...
Elena: Rex's alive...?
Rex: I miss those lips... You looked more beautiful than I remember.
Ruby: (tears coming down her face) I-I thought you died... Everyone did...
Rex: I had a little help with them.
Shane: Hey.
Athena: Looks like you guys can use some help.
Crim: What a dump.
Rin: Rex! (hugs her brother as she cries) Little brother, I thought I lost you... I missed you... I missed you so goddamn much!
Rex: (holds her tightly) I missed you, too, sis... But hey, I'm not going anywhere. So, what's happening here?
Yang: Dude, is that a new sword?
Rex: Check it. (takes out Excalibur)
Rin: Is that Caliburn?
Rex: Better. It goes by the name Excalibur.
Ruby: You're sword looks so cool!
Yang: You did a great job fixing it.
Rex: Thanks. Now that's outta the way, what's going on around here?
Ozpin: Rex! Cinder and Raven have entered the vault and are going to steal the Relic! You must stop them!
Rex: Wait. That voice! (looks at Ruby) Ozpin?
Ruby: Long story.
Ozpin: GO NOW!
Mia: Son, it's now or never!
Rex: Ok, guys, I have a plan. Athena, you go help Jaune to heal Weiss. Shane, you deal with Mercury and Emerald, but watch out for her Semblance. Crim, take out the big guy.
Athena: You've got it.
Shane: Right!
Crim: Thought you'd never ask!
Ruby: Rex, take this! (throws his gauntlet)
Rex catches it as he ran to the vault as Emerald and Mercury try to stop him, but Rex boosts himself and jumps down.
Mercury: Damn it!
He tries to run after him, but a spear was thrown in front of him.
Yugo: You're staying here!
Ruby, Shane, Rin, and Yang are shown facing off against Emerald and Mercury. The sisters switch positions and leap forward to take on their opponents. Yang and Shane knock into Emerald while Rin and Ruby takes on Mercury. He uses Talaria to kick Crescent Rose out of Ruby's hands.
Mercury: (sarcastically) Uh oh, what're you gonna do now?
