My Best Coincidence (Seventeen S.Coups)

Part 10

One day before leaving for the forest with Seventeen, Hana told me she couldn't go. Sooya's mother got sick, and since Sooya had to take care of her, the bakery needed someone to cover. Hana had to step in. It was such a pity, as I didn't know anyone else going. I mean, I'd have Coups, but it wouldn't be the same without her.

"Don't worry, Lia. You're gonna have the greatest time! Think about how lucky you are! Any Carat would love to be in your position. You can call me if something goes wrong, but I think it's going to be the complete opposite. Just enjoy it, you deserve it! And later, tell me everything!"

We hugged. I was lucky that Hana was so understanding. I would miss her so much.

That night, Hana helped me pack all my best clothes and even lent me some of hers. I put everything in the suitcase and prepared everything else I'd need.

Coups called the previous day to let me know the plan: the members would take different cars and we'd all meet there. As for me, Seungcheol would come to pick me up, and I'd go with him.

It was nearly impossible to sleep that night. My nerves wouldn't let me relax. I had watched 'Seventeen in the Soop' several times, so my expectations were sky-high. At the same time, I didn't know what to expect or if they would like me. Two full weeks are a long time to get to know someone. I'd have to make a great impression.

With all those thoughts swirling, I slowly fell asleep.

The next morning, my alarm went off at 7 am. I had two hours to get ready. First, I had a quick breakfast with coffee. Then, I took a shower and did some self-care. I shaved, knowing there would be a swimming pool. Afterwards, I did my hair and makeup. I wasn't going to go overboard with the makeup, but I wanted to look beautiful, especially for S.Coups.

I was so focused on my routine that when I checked my phone, I saw I had 2 missed calls from him. I gasped. Why would he call me twice? I called him back immediately.

''Hello?'' He answered the call.

''Hi!'' You called me?'' I said smiling like an idiot.

''Yes! I know I told you I would pick you up at 9 am, but I finished earlier and I'm downstairs. In case you need help...'' He explained.

The simple thought of Coups coming earlier to help me made me blush. Should I let him in?

''Oh ehm... just give me a minute. I'll call you back'' I said quickly.

I tidied the little things we had around the apartment, to make sure everything was in order when he came upstairs. Hana and I are very serious about cleaning and organizing, so that was not a real problem, but still, I had to double check that everything was okay. When I made sure of it, I called him again.

''Sorry for making you wait.'' I said as soon as he picked it up.

''No worries. Is everything okay?'' He said concerned.

''Yeah! It's just that I needed to finish closing my luggage. Is it okay for you to come upstairs and help me with it?'' I asked him nervously.

"Sure!, I'll be there in a minute''.

In two minutes, someone knocked on the door. After checking myself in the mirror one last time, I opened. He was looking awesome. His signature beanie and some gray sweatpants were going to be the death of me.

''Hi'' He said, smiling. It looked like he came running, as his breath felt heavier and faster. I smiled to myself.

''Hi'' I replied.

I let him get in.

''Wow, such a nice apartment! It's very noticeable that women live here. Everything is so tidy and smells good'' He said looking around
