"You did what?! And you didn't tell me before?!" Hana's face was a picture of astonishment. My coffee cup trembled in my hand at her sudden outburst.
"It's not a big deal, I just kissed his cheek," I tried to downplay it.
"No, girl, it wasn't just a kiss," she said, attempting to mimic my voice. "It's a big deal! I'm sure he was surprised." Indeed.
"Yeah, quite a lot," I admitted, feeling shy at the memory of last week. I hadn't told her sooner because I knew she'd react exactly like this.
"Girl, you really know how to surprise me sometimes. You look like a little butterfly, but in reality, you're a shameless monkey!"
"What is this comparison?" I laughed, confused.
"Yeah, it sounded better in my head..." she said, reconsidering her comment. "By the way, any plans for today?" she asked, sipping her morning coffee.
"Not really. I thought about going to a café to finish some work from the office and chill a bit," I said casually.
"Come to my café!" she said excitedly.
"Not at all. I know you'd distract me. I need peace to work," I replied quickly.
"Alright... but who works on Saturdays?"
"Someone who wants a pay raise," I said, referring to myself. "And actually you too, so hurry up or Sooya will be angry you're late again."
She finished her coffee and rushed out. She's such a pain sometimes.
As for me, I got ready, grabbed all my work essentials, and headed to a nice café near a park. I'd noticed it before and thought it looked lovely.
I found a spot with a view of the garden and a large building nearby. It looked like a TV station, with various branded trucks parked outside.
Sipping my matcha tea, I managed to concentrate for two hours and nearly finished all my work. My boss had given me a lot to do last week, and I needed to complete everything by Monday.
During a short break, I glanced out the window and saw a crowd gathering in front of the TV station. Curious, I asked the waitress if she knew what was happening.
"I heard Seventeen is here for a news interview," she replied.
I smiled at the coincidence.
Returning to my seat, I focused on the scene outside. After a while, several cars started arriving at the building. I recognized them instantly—they were the same cars Seungcheol had sent for me to bring me to Hybe. The members began to emerge in pairs: first Joshua and Minghao, then Dino and Seungkwan, Jeonghan and Wonwoo, Mingyu and DK, Vernon and Jun, Hoshi and Woozi, and finally, S.Coups. I quickly took out my phone and snapped a picture of him as he exited the car, just before he went into the building with the rest. I smiled at the photo and sent it to him.
Seungcheol

I caught you! :)
The message was sent, but no reply came. It was normal—they were busy with their schedule. I put my phone down and refocused on my work.
After another hour, I finally finished all my paperwork. Relief washed over me; I had completed everything sooner than expected. Glancing at the TV building again, I saw the cars were still there, but the boys were nowhere in sight. They were probably still inside. The crowd of fans had thinned out; some must have gotten tired of waiting. I chuckled to myself.
